Comm ID: Dinger
I wish to report the attempted piracy and or hijacking of my vessel.
I was exploring parts of the Texas system, near the California Jump Hole, when a ship broadcasting the transponder signature of Dan_Solo ordered me to heave to and prepare to be boarded.
I cut my engines, and examined his ship. None of his weapons posed a very serious threat, and his ID did not match his actions. He currently was carrying the ID of a recruit, though I do not know which agency he was being recruited for, and if he so wished he could still have been carrying a civilian ID instead. I told him to stand down and that I would defend my ship if necessary.
He proceeded to open fire on me. After I took a few hits I returned fire. The initial salvo did not deter him as I had hoped it would. Upon receiving a few more hits I ordered my gunners to fire for effect, destroying his vessel.
After that I left the scene and continued to explore, transmitting to his escape pod that his cargo and nanobots and batteries were still on scene for his retrieval.
I leave any further punishments up to you, including fines against me for destroying his ship.

Identification: Commodore Christina Robinson
Location: New York system, Battleship Missouri
Regarding the craft known as Dan_Solo;
There is no evidence present from your guncamera, so we cannot take action either way.
If you wish to make a report in the future about any incidents involving yourself and a group of criminals, please provide the neccessary evidence. It makes our lives very much easier if that evidence could include pictures of the criminals in question demanding credits or cargo, threatening a hijack and firing on your ship.
As you've put him in his place, there is no need for us to do anything about the situation at present. Hopefully he will have learnt from his encounter with your vessel and may stop to think next time about whether his current life is one worth living.
