I recently got a brand-spanking new Radeon HD 3650 AGP videocard, i formatted my HD and re-installed windows and FL and everything i had.
so i try turning on the ENB series mod, it sucked, but i have a bigger problem, backgrounds and effects are all 18/16 bit, so all gradients loose colours, well, i'm no good at explaining so i'll show you, as well as reflections on my ship like ive never seen before:
I go to options and see two new checkboxes under "peformance" ive never seen before:
18-bit dither and environment maps, i turn off 18bit dither and restart the computer, yet it still lacks the colours in-between.
so i re-activated disco and coulden't find the D3D8 file i'm supposed to remove when not using ENB. i thought it was somehow removed for me.
Any help on how to fix this bug?
(mind you, when i start FL it says it can't recognise my VC, and when i try to update my ATI drivers it says it can't find drivers sutable for my OS, i'm useing windows pro SP2 with the newest .NET framework and some updates)
i re-install FL and FLMM, and i also double-click the mod files so they unpack themselves.
so i unpack 4.85 and GLS, and when it auto-starts FLMM after unpacking, both the mods appear green as if they were activated, i did not activate any of them, and when i start FL it obviously had not installed 4.85.
now, when i try to de-activate the mods, it pops up with an error and says i can't deactivate it because of some backup problem.
yet again i request help, note that ive un-installed FL and FLMM and deleted all the files associated with the programs twice.
Use "restore backups" for such bugs, not deactivating. It's in the menu... That helps when FLMM thinks you have something activated and you don't, or you have something completely different activated.
