As usual its seems to be up to me ... We have just been presented with possibly the best version of the mod to
date. A little buggy at the moment, but hey thats what the betas are for ...
No one has bothered to say thanks to our Mod Creator once more, and we are off whining about balance issues
straight out of the starting blocks again.
I'll re-iterate, this is Freelancer, and while the RP scenarios have moved on in leaps and bounds and most to the
good of the server, we cannot make this as good as real life politics and technological advancement.
I have never heard one real 'thank you' from factions getting their own weapons for the first time. Normally its
a complaint that they are seen to be not as good as someone elses. The Kraken was always seen as the bench
mark in this race, now its not even worth a mention.
Please everyone lets get back on track, look at the balance issues as a whole, not who has the perceived 'best
guns.' Couple it with the stats of your house fighters and everything else available.
We can work the minor ones out, Igiss has worked the biggies, and while I always jokingly whinge about my
favourite ships being 'nerfed', there are actually very few major issues now.
Soooo ... From me personally, Igiss a big thank you. Please, long may your vision of Freelancer grace our PCs.

Right, a bit of sucking up for the great mod would be in order I guess...:P
Just if the people would open their eyes and see further than their fobia.
Igiss, thank you for putting up with us!
(Or are you reading our arguing/flaming each other and you're laughing your a$$ off?)
If the stars should appear one night in a thousand years, how would men believe and adore and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the city of God? - from 'Nightfall' by I.
