After much discussion with other Kusari faction leaders, we have decided to plan a weekly RP event between Kusari Lawfuls and Unlawful organisations. This event will be similar to the KNF v BAF weekly event, however, involving Kusari Lawfuls and Unlawfuls.
Instead of the usual All on All that we seem to have recently, we will be having planned battleslots for each Kusarian organisation. For example, one week, we would have the Kusari Naval Forces vs the Golden Chrysanthemums. The next, we may have the Gas Miners Guild vs the Farmers Alliance. Keep updated for which factions/organisations are coming up.
Side 1 (Enemies: Side 4)
Kusari Naval Forces
Kusari State Police
Samura Heavy Industries
Side 2 (Enemies: Side 3)
Kishiro Technologies (+ the consortium, will not fight the Hogosha, possibly FA)
The Gas Miners Guild
Side 3 (Enemies: Side 2 and 4)
The Farmer's Alliance
The Hogosha (Will not fight Kishiro)
Side 4(Enemies: Side 3 and 1)
The Blood Dragons
The Golden Chrysanthemums
The Consortium (Special group: Enemies 1, 2 & 3, excluding the Gas Miners Guild)
(Don't ask about the Consortium. Blame Ironwatsas.)
Hopefully, we will be adding other factions in at a later date (such as the Privateers/Gaians/Colonial Remnant/Outcasts/Corsairs/MM), but for now this is on a trial basis.
Each week, we will randomize one organisation vs another, until each organisation has been picked. After that, we will begin again. Allies may be able to battle against the opponent from each of their sides if the balance is uneven.
The organisations will be randomized using a random number generator, battling thus:
1: KNF v Blood Dragons
2: KNF v GC
3: KNF v The Consortium
4: KSP v Blood Dragons
5: KSP v GC
6: KSP v The Consortium
7: Samura vs Blood Dragons
8: Samura vs Golden Chrysanthemums
9: Samura vs The Consortium
10: Kishiro vs FA
11: Kishiro vs The Hogosha
12: Kishiro vs The Consortium
13: GMG vs FA
14: GMG vs The Hogosha
15: FA vs Blood Dragons
16: FA vs Golden Chrysanthemums
17: FA vs The Consortium
18: Hogosha vs Blood Dragons
19: Hogosha vs Golden Chrysanthemums
20: Hogosha vs The Consortium
NOTE: ALL PARTICPANTS ARE TO ARRIVE 10-15mins EARLY SO THAT WE CAN BEGIN AT 2100 GMT WITHOUT ANY DELAYS. ALLIES ALSO TO BE PROMPT, ESPECIALLY WHEN THE FIGHT INVOLVES FACTIONS SUCH AS KISHIRO OR SAMURA.
Points such as gathering places and RP will be posted shortly, approximatley tuesday-wednesday each week after the event.
The next 3 weeks coming up (this part will be deleted every 3 weeks, will post a notice):
Samura vs Blood Dragons
GMG vs Hogosha
FA vs Golden Chrysanthemums
(FA and Hogosha rules switched due to RP problems)
(yes, these were all randomly generated. Looks like the KNF/KSP don't get a turn... yet)
Due to the slow pace of these events, if they turn out to be popular, then we will hopefully be able to get more battleslots!
Just to point out - Sunday evening is the busiest time on the server so expect delays. Plus there are other events on around this time, so avoiding a clash would be advisable.
And are we really sure that these are all going to work? I mean I like the idea of mixing it up, but look at that first fight . . . Samura vs. Blood Dragons?
I just mean have we addressed the inevitable differences in faction size (&equip I suppose)? It would be terrible to see a faction get themselves all worked up and then have like 2 people show up from the other side.
A strong empire begins with a firm foundation.

Thats why allies are also allowed to participate if the sides are uneven, but only to make up for the loss of one side. I think we should put - minimum 5 people on each side of the event for it to work out.
I know sunday may be a busy day, but I'm hoping this will go well:)
Quote:I approve of this, but it does seem a bit over-complicated, with all the millions of sides and random-assignments and stuff.
It would probably be easier just to base it off who logs on for the event that day?
This way kind of suits the complex RP and sides that happen in Kusari, I'm not sure if I got it right.
We are also hoping for 2 slots later on, to make it easier on everyone.
