Dear madams and sirs,

I'd like to introduce myself first. My name is Gwen Sky, and I'm a foemer member of the Zoners Abolishing Slavery. Since the activity of the ZAS has nearly dropped to zero, I've decided to give my support to another organization, which has risen in the recent past, the Independent Abolitionist Force.

Being an offspring of the Independent Miners Guild, the IAF follows similar goals than the ZAS, and even more. We strife to make the Taus and Omegas a better and safer place for our fellow miners, try to keep the smuggling of illegal goods down to a minimum and provide security to those traveling mentioned regions.

We also help those who have been rescued from the cruel hands of their captors to rehabilitate, start new lifes ore continue with their old from which they have been taken away.

I've learned that our forces have already met in space and had a peaceful discussion, I hope we can continue this positive beginning of our neighbourhood in the Taus and create a solid ground for possible future treaties and negotiations.

Ambassador Krylov, true to his ancient national heritage wasn't quite... sober this time.

As President, I would like to assure you, that any movement opposed to slavery and any violations of basic human rights will be supported by my government.

However, please mind that Tau 44 is basically a large military compound. The only installation purposely-made for civilians is Minato. Other bases in the system are military installations, often conducting classified research or manufacture. That's why I urge you not to conduct any mining in the area without authorization from the local fleet authority.
