It costs 550K for faction cards when you each level 30. Judging by my experience I will not have 550K for a faction card when I reach level 30. Reason is simple when you die you lose your missles and cargo. Doubted I am an RPer it will not happen because I die when I dock.
Which leads to bug 2. Instant docking would take out vast majority of bugs and the 2-5 minuite dock time because ships are not docking at thei normal place. If they kept docking at their normal place then you would not wait 2-5 minutes but 30 seconds to minute. And, leads to various other docking bugs with "regular game" ships.

actually u need to change ID when u reach level 40...and that is about 3 mill and equipped VHF..so no problem there
I'm really hate this getting dock killed is not fun and needs to be fixed ASAP. Because you have capital ships it made all "normal regular" ships buged while docking. Instant dock is the only thing which can solve the docking bugs.
As for the slow dock time there are spots on stations that are instant dock, trick is identifying them. Border stations for example have an instant dock near the control tower. Takes practice to figure out where they work for each station (control towers tend to be consistent though, same with mooring fixtures). Distance is important as well.

NPCs kill me off real fast and I have the shields which are needed in a particular area. And who the enemies are. They still kill me off fast, it due to the ridiculous prices of the "normal game" ships. They are not equivelant in price to your level. "Monetary" Level of you. It is ridiculous. :rtfm:
There should have been a balance with game ships and "monetary" level. Level 18 is 150K and no ship should be over 150K at level 18. The only thing which is well balanced is the level 38 ships monetary wise. because that is basicly the end game stuff. But, ships and equipment are at higher prices then what they should be "monetary" level. :rtfm:
Another thing which I saw due to te AI being worked on you blow off all the tails and thruster of an NPC ship it still flies around like it lost nothing. :rtfm:
When I play solo version I hardly use any other mods, besides instant docking and speed mod because I love crusining in asteroids and watching myself blow up cruising through an asteroid belt at 3600 speed. But, reaching level 38 and having end game ships is still hard on solo version. In multiplayer it will be close to impossible.
You lose missles and your cargo which seriously downplays the fun in this game. Especially if you get dock killed which makes you lose 10K credits of missles. :rtfm:
' Wrote:Thats how its supposed to be buddy...Either get a trading ship and start trading or get a decent fighter and do missions...Its not that hard..
It is hard especially with the starting ship and low credits. 8500 starting credits is not a lot of credits. And, having the faction you are in solo version to join as an enemy makes it even harder for the RPer. I am so frustrated with multiplayer that it is beyond pathetic. Because I am a Golden C girl and Golden C hates me.
And, I only use their factional equipment and I can't buy it. Since they hate me. And, the heavy fighter which I use is ridiculously over priced which is a level 16 ship. And, costs over a million. :$
An RP server should be totally neutral since if you want to be on the side you play solo should not need to kill countless bounty hunters. Should be total neutral so you can get to your favorite location and 50,000 for your favorite weapons and a good level 3 shield. Till you can afford a decent ship.
Are you really requesting to change the core functionality of Discovery (docking) in phrases like "needs to be fixed ASAP"?
It's obvious why we cannot implement the neutral reputation. If we do, all players will start new characters for safe trading; traders won't have to fear pirates or anyone else on the route. It's possible now as well, but requires alot of effort, and that's how it's intended to be.

If you are a GC, get friendly with GC. It's not so hard as you say. And if you are frustrated, you are welcome to play on PvP server; 10 mil money and neutral reputation. As for the RP, things that you are talking about will not be changed. That's all.
