Hey, I can't connect to Discovery whenever the server is 194/200 or more. Does anyone else have this issue? If so, the last 6 slots are worthless then?
Mast, we're already stretching FL Servers capabilities with the 72 slot increase to 200, an increase to 300 could cause severe problems.

yeah we'd either have to write a new server implementation (canon estimates about 17,000 lines of code to reverse engineer) or split it between 2 servers and sync the character data.
Some of the newer games server operators are like 200,000 lines
The old max was 128, the problem cannon says is that FLserver was built BEFORE Dual/Quad core computers, it doesnt know how to use the others.
like i said, youd have to rewrite the server. Big project, but imagine disco's braggin rights when they can say "we can hold 1000 players cuz we wrote a quad-core compatible version of flserver.exe"
