I'm really tired. As far as I know, nobody was consulted about what's going on in Ontario beforehand. Certainly not me (as I learned about it when the thread was around five pages), certainly not JihadJoe. I honestly could've just put 'tl;dr' infront of my first post in that thread.
I'm tired of metagaming.
I'm tired of legal sparring with bluntpencil (something I never wanted to get into, as I particularly dislike that kind of RP) even though it's just started.
I'm tired of this whole thing.
What exactly is the point to this? Can someone tell me that? How about why neither I nor Joe was informed that this was going on, nor were we consulted?
I've played my card. Call it metagaming if you'd like. The entire affair smacks of it to me, to be perfectly honest.
I use the "M-word" because it seems to me like this was all RP'd on one side only. Maybe Joe was told, but I sure as hell wasn't. The LPI was in this RP, a very major one to be sure, and you played both sides as the station was taken over. What the hell?
I'm not upset over the RP.
I'm upset because no one ever told me! It took someone coming to me and asking what I thought about it for me to realize something was even happening.
I think an entire system electing a new governor to secede is worthy of calling all relevant faction leaders in Liberty, especially me, as the main station in question is an LPI installation.

The station was hardly taken over, really. There is/was disorder and some small areas controlled by dissenting parties.
The system hasn't elected a new governor, and likely won't for quite some time, so that's hardly relevant.
Anyway, it's not like it was hidden anywhere, and it's not like a relatively new player, like arvg, should go off and contact however many faction leaders about his election campaign. In fact, numerous faction leaders came to him to get some involvement here.
I don't believe we played 'both sides', to be fair, either. I don't see where this is coming from.

Neither was I told about it... Quite frankly, I didn't bother reading the thing... In fact, I think I'll just ignore it.
It just seems like quite a major RP to just put up and hope I see, as obviously I didn't. If I were to trawl through the RP forum to see everything that pertained to the LPI, I would have no time for anything Disco-related.
And don't worry King, I put up a bit for the LSF, so you're covered. It's mostly the LPI's affair, anyways...
Dont worry Zapp. I've got a RP story with 18 posts in it deeeep in the archives that I edit for occasions like this.
We've already taken over 40% of one of the SCRA's bases.
Not completely taken over, but mostly. Most of their soldiers and civilians are sensitive to our cause however and it doubtless only a matter of time before we claim the system for ourselves.
We shall then call it Trollzania. Home of the Troll people.
To be fair, this would never have happened if they didn't try to arrest a man at a hockey game.:D
The support shown on forums is a reflection of in-game support, local pilots having badgered Katz into running for Governor after he kicked in some slavers. Some local Freelancers then set about spreading the word, of course.
