I'm looking forward to start a faction based on the Gaian ID but more "serious" and organized like a secret organization. I have some questions regarding this matter:
1. Can I modify the diplomatic relations with the factions from the ID? (like being neutral with the Outcasts or something like that) And can I sign a treaty or something with any Gallic Faction? (like, let's say the Brigands or the Unione Corse)
2. The gaians only have the "Claymore" build on their own line. What ships should we use? (I was thinking of the civilian line (Starblazer, Griffin, Falcon, Eagle, Roc)
3. Can we trade? I mean we are a "terrorist organization" but we still need to supply ourselves. If yes... what ship should we use? I was thinking at the Border Worlds Transport or to make a special request at one of our allies. Maybe the Correo from the Corsairs?
4. About the ZOI... Can I have some influence in Kusari? (because inRP, the organization had agents all over the two Houses that are at war)
5. Can I talk inRP about a new invention? (a new less-polluting engine or fuel or something like that) - because if you look at the Gaian Gunship engines you will see that they are a bit different and I want to "give" the new technology to as many factions as I can.
Uhmmm... they don't exist? In the last few weeks I've been very active on my gaian and I haven't seen any of those rare birds. Not to mention that I have a different idea here.
But, keep it to the topic please. I want answers not invitations to join other factions.
My personal take on Gaian diplomacy:
The Gaians seem to have broardened their goals, previously focusing hostilities towards Planetform, BMM and OS&C. I see them now moving towards a greater focus on overthowing the government that they believe is corrupt and largely controlled by the corporations. Therefore, they tend to side with Kusari in the conflict.
The alliance with the Farmers Alliance is logical since both groups have somewhat similar goals. Synth Foods is not a big focus for the Gaians, although increasing attempts by the corporation to operate on Planet Cambridge my provoke increased hostility.
The Outcasts are hostile for two main reasons. First, the distribution of cardamine, which I refer to as "Terraforming the Body and Mind". Second, the slave trade, which goes against the ethos of the Gaians.
The alliance with the Corsairs is complicated. It gives the Gaians a strong ally against the bretonian government and a much needed friend in bretonian space, but it also requires glossing over various atrocities perpetrated by the Corsairs, possibly by was of conpiricy theories concerning government propaganda.
The Hogosha are allies due to the Corsairs and the Farmers alliance, and Gaians suppoting Kusari over Bretonia.
Relations with the Mollies are tense due to the alliance with the Corsairs, but not really openly hostile.
I treat the IMG as neutral, as they also dislike BMM and the Outcasts. It may be possible to improve relations by way of diplomacy and trade.
I'd also suggest attempting improving relations with the LWB, as many Gaians fear that what happened to Stuttgart could also happen to Cambridge.
Concerning Gallia, It seems resonable that they would sympthesize with the Council. However, they are probably too preoccupied with Bretonia to get very involved, but could try to establish trading links.
The Gallic corporations seem to act in a similar manner to BMM, profiting without much concern for pollution and the environment. I can also see the widespread use of oil-derived spaceship fuel to be a concern.
As for ships, the civillian line (Griffin, Falcon, Eagle, Roc) is great. In addition, the Waran bomber can be used by Gaians, as can the Farmers Alliance Bomber and possibly the Black Dragon fighter. Various other civillian ships could work too. For transports, their ties to Bretonia through the Green Front, and to Kusari though the Hogosha mean that Bretonian or Kusari transports could be used, in addition to generic Civillian transports. The Corsair Frieghter or the Hogosha transport should be fine if you ask nicely.
You can have a limited presence in Kusari, although Bretonia and the Tau systems are the primary concern.
Also, bear in mind that many Gaians were recruited from the students, graduates and academics on Cambridge, so new technological developments are not out of the question.

Thank you.
First of all, you could join and then.. Voila! You'll see some NLH. And no, I'm not in the NLH so I'm not recruiting for them.
Second, that was on topic, the link I provided gives the answers to most, if not all of your questions.

1. If you mean, "Allies: None, Enemies: Planetform + ALL EVERYONE!", then no, probably not. If you mean "Hey, the Super-Earth League doesn't like X party", then yes. Also, why exactly would the Gaians care about the Gauls? Hint: They wouldn't. They're too busy bombing terraforming sites or interdicting the trade to and from said sites to go have a ball with some evil Royal government and their bourgeoisie counterparts.
2. Claymore, civilian ships.
3. Ehm... Where, exactly? From Islay to Newcastle? Or...? I suppose if the Gaians are cozy with the Corsairs, you could trade with them and perhaps use a Correo. If so, you'd probably be toting arms, food, and water places, not going, "Well, engine components sell well at Kensington, and, my! That's on the way! *scribbles notebook*"
4. See point two. Sure, you probably could, but why would you bother? How many planets are being ruined from their natural environment in Kusari? Otherwise, I don't think Hawaii is doing very much harm to the gas giant's ecosystem by... Staying in... Orbit. Right. Compound that with the question of how many Kusari kids would be wanting to party with a bunch of disgruntled Cambridge dropouts given present international relations.
5. No, never. We, in fact, look down upon new forms of RP and all creativity ever. We actually just use the RP label to lure unsuspecting souls like yourself into the lulpits of Hell.
6. Join the NLH. Want to know a perfect way to resurrect interest in a faction? New people.
-Edit- Pip beat me to it.
Well, I actually play with the NLH tag and the only reason I'm not around more is a) Players to pirate from and b) Money for said a reason.
Just a side note... '"serious" and organized like a secret organization' does not sound very in rp on my opinion... Heck, we're terrorists, not very active and here comes another branch...
Like I said, this faction is only based on the Gaian ID. Sure, we continue the attacks over Planetform, BMM and all that but I want to take it to the next level, I want it to be run like a secret organization in Bretonia. You will understand what I'm talking about when I'll post the proposal. Until then, I just want answers to those questions. Like the ones Wood gave. Btw, Thanks.
