God i miss all those awesome Sci-Fi Games and Movies..
WHAT HAPPENED?? Where did they go??
In around 2002 in South Africa they stopped airing the "Sci-Fi Channel" :O It was at that time that my love for sci-fi and Space Exploration was pullberised!!
Since i was like 5 I LOVED scif-fi!!! Star Wars Was EPIC..
Then in 2000 things started dying... No Longer do they focus their energy on making sweet sci-fi games like freelancer... Now all they do is make FPS's its Ok to have the occasional Cod.. or CSS... But there are so many CRAP ones that could've possiby been new Sci-Fi Games!!
And the movies?? there used to be a massive buzz in the pre 2000's... Where did it go???
I'm in agreement with you here. They are definately to many FPSs coming out that aren't worth the effort it took to make them. But Jumpgate Evolution is coming out soon, and only recently the Stargate series' ended. Great Sci-fi in Stargate.
