Account restoration?

Sorry about the incorrect placement. Havn't asked for help here before.

<strike>Heya guys, Seems that a while ago my Windows decided it would get corrupted, and then my friend, decided he would reinstall windows WITHOUT my prior consent. I only just got around to installing freelancer and downloading the latest mod (Twice because the first time I did somthing VERY wrong... But thats another story.)

Anyway I was wondering if it would be possible to transfer all the characters from my old account to my new one?



Characters on the Old Account:

Dragonego
[RM]Wolfgang.Haynsworth
[RM]Wolfgang,Haynsworth
And some others... (I can't remeber all of them..)



Characters on the New Account:

Dragonego2



Long story short, can an Admin restore my characters to my new account? Ive seen it done before on other servers, submitting my character names, and a name on my new account, and getting my characters transferred.

Did you happen to save your account codes either on a print out or saved on a cd? If the answer is no, only the Admins can answer. Though I believe the answer would be that they can not help.

I did have my Account codes saved in a file on my PC (Pointless I know, I meant to get around to emailing them to myself so they would be available over the internet.) But C:\ was reformatted -.-

I've heard that Admins might be able to transfer my lost characters over to a new account, If I give them my old and new character names. Hopefully. It would be sad to have to work up all those credits again, :(

If you have yor character backed as ADf files, or at least got the account code, you can just use the account manager to restore that account. To move your chars from one account to another you can simply use the /movechar command

I don't have my character files anymore (at all) They got removed when C:\ was reformatted. :(

i got a similar problem where my PC died.. but as i always were saying "Export it to ADF file and send an e-mail to yourself." And so i did.. however i think i am missing an account or two (yea have too many of those.. and probably forgot to send an e-mail after last couple account making) so meh..

Well, Hopefully restoring an account by other means possible.. I know it is possible on other servers. *Fingers crossed*
