Admin notice: Players Jailed

The [FR] tagged vessels and respective trade ships have all been jailed for:

3.2 All messages in system chat must be in understandable English.

3.3 Out-of-character (OOC) chat must not be used in system or local chat. OOC communication in group or
private chat between players will cease if one player requests it. Admins are free to communicate with any
player at any time.

3.4 Threatening other players with reports and sanctions, attempting to pose as an Admin and using an
Admin's name without permission is not allowed.

3.5 Names of new characters should be set up with role-playing nature of our server in mind. This means that:

- Names should contain no swear words.
- Country of player origin must not be used in character names.
- Names with excessive use of random symbols, capital letters, numbers, symbols, leet speak, emoticons
should not be used.
- For further information about character names read here.

6.10 Player reputation and conduct must match player actions. For instance a player may not dock
on a base belonging to the persons whom they are attacking or being attacked by.

Three separate reports in the last twenty four hours concerning the above ships and acounts is not
an acceptable situation.
We need a serious word here gentlemen, before you continue to play on this server. Please post your
acknowledgement, and understanding of the above rules, and -all- the others not listed ...

Hey.
To make this clear, I posted one of these reports.
Swif, sorry... But I don't really know what your talking about...:unsure:
Anyway, I reported an [FR] because of OORP in system, and using some strange non-english character.
I understand that you might all be foreign... But this is an English speaking server... You need to use decent English to be able to roleplay with the rest of us. It's not really a great system if the server has people who don't understand each other...
Hence that rule was made by the admins.
May I politely ask that you find a Freelancer server that supports your language and try that? I can see your English isn't exactly... Amazing. You would do far better there, I'm sure.

As Hood stated, there were multiple (as in more than one player, more than one time) reports of behavior that is unacceptable on our server. This could be due to your not understandng the rules here. Please go to this link: http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4040

Those are ALL of the rules for this server. It is important that you understand them. If English is not your native language - and it appears that it is not - please contact us. We have a very talented group of people that can help you in just about any language you speak. However, ignorance of the rules is no excuse for behavior that violates them.

I was LR-Dead.End, and I noticed one of your ships was a Police-tagged Barghest with a recruit ID. Not only are you not supposed to have a Recruit ID once you get an IFF, but you are also not supposed to have a Police tag and a Rogue bomber.

And the OoRP in system chat didn't much help either.

Seeing as one of my [Iota]- members was involved in this, being the unofficial group's leader, I feel I should post. Hope I'm allowed to.

If there is any evidence pertaining to [Iota]-Elona.Regine and whatever swif was up to in Alaska, may I have it PM'd to myself? I'd like to see what this is about.

If this doesn't involved [Iota]-Elona.Regine at all and swif's just looking for a scapegoat, then please excuse this post.

Just poppin' in to help.

I talked with thems a few times since I'm french, and apparently the [FR] tag is both to show that they are French but is also considered by thems as a faction (trading faction ? they have a forum.)

I'm pretty much sure the rules are completely unclear for thems, and since their french is also far from being good, I assume that unless a few french players that can understand english quite well decide to translate the rules, this problem will continue to happen with the French players (not only the [FR], but all the french newbies).
