It was another long day for Rogue_9x in Sigma 13 by the New Berlin Jump Hole. Traders were few and far between. Working hand in hand with Outcast to stop incoming traders was going well. Working together, we stopped 5 or 6 traders who paid in the Sigma 13 system. It wasn't a big pay day for me, but my pirating skills have improved. I can say this, "the pirate's life is for me."
Rogue_9x: Pass me a cold one.
Barkeep: You don't have credit here!
Rogue_9x: AARRR, Take this.
Rogue_9x tosses a severd finger on to the bar with a gold ring topped with a 2 carrot diamond.
Rogue_9x: I'm sure that'd take care of my tab and my bothers' as well. Drink up boys!
The bar is empty and so is my mug. It has been 2 exciting days since my last visit. I stopped 3 traders out of Sigma 13 yet again, this time solo. First one I CD about 15-20k away form the NB jump hole in Sig 13. The second I killed the trade lane inside NB. The third, I chased from Sig 13 to Planet NT. After that days work, I grossed 13 million credits. Today, I ganged up with my pal Rogue63. We chased traders until we were blue in the face. Unfortunately the traders didn't pay with credits or cargo. They dicided their blood would cover the cost. Well, the good news is I got a new thruster and some fertilizer.
The Crew of the Abomination, also known as Raptor 1 of the Rogues Raptor Squadron, entered the Bar. The tallest one, Ashenhurst, moved to the bar, his long jacket flowing slightly behind him.
The other two, Wodgiss and Damien, sat down at a table in the corner where they could oversee the entire establishment.
Back at the counter, Ashenhurst motioned to the Barkeep who was server another customer. After the stocky man was finished, he walked over to Ash and started polishing a glass complete with a swift, 'What can I get'cha?'
Ash: 'Three glasses of the finest Rogues Ale you have.'
Barkeep: 'You'll be paying for this how? The last guy who came in here gave me a finger and I didn't take that too kindly.'
Ash: 'We have a hold of Luxury Consumer Goods, plenty of which one such as yourself could see use for. As well, if you prefer hard cash, I have a Million Cr in solid cash, some of which I would be more then willing to give to you. The more months of service we are guaranteed, the more I pay.'
Barkeep: 'Well, if you put it that way.....'
Ash walked over to the table, three large mugs of Ale in his hand. 'Were now ten Thousand credits lighter, mates, But at least we got free beer for the next 5 years.'
Damien: 'Damn, we got it lucky.' and he took a long swig from the foaming Tankard.
Ashenhurst unhooked his Sabre from its sheath and set it on the table, checking to see there were no blemishes, and that it would be fit for more service. All too soon it would be time to set out again.
The breathing mask sat at his hip. A rare sight only available when he took to an occasional drink. But the bar called for his attention. Best places to find information in these parts definitely wasn't your local library. The pirate fighter he had met in Magellan had told him of this place. Well, more like demanded some creds for the location of a safe haven. But either way it works. And when your flying a large ship alone... lets just say any sort of problems and all you can do is run.
When you needed men for a ship you could almost always find someone who had lost enough creds to throw their lot in with you. With the acquisition of one less then new Rogue Gunboat off a junker and the cost of repairs. Well, he wasn't well endowed with much left. Enough to get food and hire a few of the sorry slop around to get the thing flying.
Hopefully someone in these parts is looking for a temporary escort or something. The smugglers always loved having a distraction during their runs. And as long as none of his crew was doped up he was good. Nothing against the rich mucks who took it. But he didn't need to be the slave to anyone else.
Well for now just a drink. Perhaps a name or two as well. For the lanes a plump with plunder and all I seek is a challenge.
Do not tell me I cannot have what is mine. You sink my Ship and I will raise it anew. Kill my men and I will bring more. I am more relentless then death itself.

A large man with a scraggly beard and a scar-covered faces enters the bar. As he does so, several of the bar's patrons immediately get up to leave.
"Git yerselfs back down dere! Ah've got meself a proposal fer all ye thugs."
Nearly all conversation in the bar stops. The man see that this is good and continues.
"Now, dis be da plan. Ah'm needin' meself a hearty crew fer a big job dat ah be plannin'. Ye know dem arms dealahs? Ah've bin eye'n dem fer some time now. Ah figah dat ah can be gettin' one o'dem ter be payin' a pretty nice sum o'cash fer da removal of some product an' da competition. Who be wantin' ter join up with me crew an' pursue dis quarry? Who be wantin' ter join da Cap'n Morgan!"
A man wearing sunglasses, dressed in a tie and suit walks closer.
"I hope your tactical skills are as unique as your accent.
I will under no condition join an operation that will have a risk of failure caused by incompetence or overall idiocy."
I am the man who pursued a weapons dealer across five systems in a lone Sabre and brought his shields down twice. A fleet of 3 orcas, 4 cruiser class and one Bounty Hunter Battleship did serve as a deterrent, I have to admit.
Padding the shoulder of a new crew member he looked at this brash man.
I see that you desire a group to fly with you. But I don't think anyone in here trust you enough that it might be they risk their lives for this brash plan of yours. I would first need to know the amount of firepower your running and where at you intend to take these contracts from.
Eyeing the well dressed gentleman he takes a quiet snapshot and archives it within his suit. With a slight thump of each step he approaches the gentleman.
You seem to have quite the determination within you. Its something quite rare in these parts. Most people simply desire to get in quick and get out. Leaving if things get to hot. You sir, on the other hand seem to desire the troubles of perseverence in this very hostile line of work. Might I enquire as to what sort of business works you this day? I would be inclined to join your company at least for a time if your looking for it.
Do not tell me I cannot have what is mine. You sink my Ship and I will raise it anew. Kill my men and I will bring more. I am more relentless then death itself.
