I say pirates can pirate out of their home territory. But ida bet that the local pirates, seeing you as a newcomer stealing their rightfully stolen money. Guess what your now on their turf, and your stealing their livelihood. The locals probably oughta be pissed and out to extract some revenge.
Can anyone say turf wars?

A generic pirate ID grants rights to pirate everywhere. But a faction specific pirate ID does not.

SO if they were using a Rogue ID, they should not pirate in Kusari...

Korrd...

Let me get this straight. If I'm flyin around (as Rogue) in say in Kusari, Bretonia or Rheinland and come across a target of opportunity, I have to lay off because I'm outside Liberty? According to my faction reputation (hit F8 and click on Liberty Rogue) my enemies are Corsairs, Xenos, Bounty Hunters, House Militaries, House Police and House Corporations. "House" means ALL houses, not just Liberty. So how can I be restricted to Liberty? I don't see any Kusari flying in Colorado or Bretonians in California or Rheinlands in Texas. I also have allies from the Mollys, Outcast and Lane Hackers. While you find Lane Hackers and Outcast in Liberty space, there are no Mollys flying around.

Since we are on the subject, and with same logic, can Rheinland, Bretonia or Kusari militaries or police stop me and/or attack me while I fly through their space? If I cannot pirate outside Liberty (or other systems you find Rogues), then how can I be considered an unlawful when I fly outside Liberty? If my Blood Dragon cannot pirate in Rheinland space, then RM cannot attack my Blood Dragon in Rheinland space (I'm currently on their KoS list BTW).

I typically take on Rogue specific missions against the NPC Bounty Hunters; attack NPC gunboats, cruisers, destroyers and battleships (in various systems); and take on Nomads for their Brains. What I earn from these NPC conflicts I take back to bases and planets that pay the highest price. For example, Dublin pays a good price for Bounty Hunters, Kepler pays good for Nomad Brains, Planet Primus in the Unknowns pays high price for civilians (slaves). Can I expect safe passage through non-Liberty systems while carrying Nomad Brains without a license? I mostly keep my Rogue in House systems, but will chase a target through many systems. If I start in Cortes, I shouldn't have to break pursuit because he jumped into a Bretonian system. This is how most of my pursuits end up outside Liberty. Other times I'm enroute back to Liberty and catch a target of opportunity.

I know this is lengthy, but can you see my point. This is all within RP.

well u can pirate kusari, rheinland and bretonia traders, but do it in liberty space (if u are LIBERTY rogue)...u don't fly there just to pirate them...however, chases are different matter...they can be lead trough several systems, true...

some of you know how my Xeno char reacts when he sees pirate or terrorist from another part of Sirius...he basically attacks them and kicks them out of his turf..it is hard enough to pirate when NY system is so close...(namely Colorado..and rarely out of California)...every pirate should watch over his turf and protect it from other pirates...
With recent NovaPG intrusions to Colorado we lead quite nice RP turf war...

But also u will not see my xeno chars to pirate out of liberty...if u see me out of liberty (and that is extremely rare) i am usually after somebody who i wish to see dead, or going after some piece of equip...
