"I'll have a JD with a Cola twist please" Tyler uttered to the barkeep, turning round to survey the bar.
Not too many interesting folk here, few Libertonians, a couple of Smugglers looking all shady-like, plenty of Zoners, and some Unioners here and there.
His drink arrived and he sipped, perfect once again, he liked this barkeep. Old and ugly, but he sure knew a good drink.
He spied a pretty young girl, early twenties perhaps, studying the passing traffic out of the window of the bar. She looked to be of some exotic descent, but not the friendly kind as such...
Karen just kept looking outside, never noticing anyone around here. She slowly sipped her glass once in a while, lost in her thoughts. She was thinking about all the paperwork she had to do, all the patrols she had to perform, and all the smuggling runs she had to control. She sighed, hoping that she could just forget about her duties for a short period of time.
Rheinwehr officer enterred bar, looked through tables, hoping to find something intresting.. He felt a bit lost, so he haven't spotted anything intresting here... ( Of course, when you're chased by 6 Xeno Eagles and you're alone, you'll loose your attention.. )
"Hey, bartender, give mich ein drink und some food ( preferably some spagetti, if you have any) , if du don't mind, ich would like to get beer from Neu Berlin.."
"Spagetti will be on moment.. Ok, but don't forget you're in neutral space.. I know you, Rheinlanders... Yesterday we found some Xeno dead..."- bartender sighed and got him beer.
"Huh? Vat's ze..? Das ist war, mein herr, I think he could die from injuires... Ahh, vell, I'd like to take some rest, ich bin sorry."
He took lonely place near window and started to wait for spagetti..
She glances at him for a second, uninterested, and looked back outside. It wasn't her first time at the Freeport 2, far from it, and she knew that elegant scums were everywhere. ''You smell like an Outcast. I hate Outcasts.'' was her only answer, in a way hoping it would insult him and make him leave. She felt somewhat good alone.
She then gives a second look at him, then sighs and drinks all of her glass. ''Look, kid. If you want to sell me Cardamine, or try to affirm your authority here as one of them, or anything, you will be dealed with like the last Outcasts that tried to do it.''
As she said that she pointed outside, and some wrecks could be seen; one was easily recognizable as a Tridente, and the other pieces looked like Sabre hull panels. She then grins at him and adds: ''Just so you know who you're talking to.''
Tyler pondered again, then sat without invitation.
"No need to be so hostile dear, I'm jus' playin' around mind" Tyler smiled again, he liked her ferocity. "Cardimine is my business lass, It's jus' sad to see a girl as pretty as yer self drinkin' alone"
He leaned back casually in his chair.
"So what's yer deal?" He asked, pointing to the wrecks "Takes big guts to attack those bone heads, you really know yer stuff" he leaned in, "I like a girl with flare" He smiled another charming smile.
