I made this model a bit ago wanted to see what people thought of it. I did at a point have this textures and hardpointed but when i my comp formatted i only kept the .max file of it.
Its a bit blocky..But fairly good. I actually think that fits one of the ships I was workign on Pretty well, but it woud need texturing, amougn other things.
:Dwell it was my first whack at doing this sort of thing. The cockpit is the big nose type thing..lol. I just thought if it was tinted glass it would at least look half like a cockpit XD
That said I do have some comments. You really don't need to bevel every surface. It's a mistake a lot of beginners make. Beveling is a good thing, but almost every face is done. It makes it look kind of like a big door. I like the scoop on the top. That works very well. You may want to consider dropping the back end of the scoop down slightly, but that is just an aesthetic thing. ^_^
I would also smooth the cockpit out. If you are going to bevel it, take it up instead of down. It looks very odd when the viewports are inset like that instead of protruding.
As far as the modeling goes, very clean. Good job. [[aww, no thumbs up smiley....]]
I really look forward to edits of this and your future ships.
