I'm currently setting up a few new characters for my CoC faction. Different types of fighters, bombers, LF, VHF's, ect. They're full freelancer rep with a Merc ID. However, it normally takes me three different tries with three different characters to get the rep right.
The reason is because almost every time I try to /droprep a certain reputation, it drops the wrong one, leaving me with the incorrect rep. I.E. Zoners almost every time. Now, after I use the /droprep command and it drops the Freelancer rep (when I intended for it to drop Zoners rep), I can't bribe them back to full because the bribes are only up for 500 credits or so...and I'm still tagged Zoners!
This is the fourth time this has happened and I'm litterally, for lack of a better word effing pissed off. I've spent like 50 million trying to setup ONE character and it's irritating the hell out of me. Is there anyway I can get this rep fixed to full Freelancer like I wanted /droprep to do in the first place? Or can we get this command looked at and possibly fixed so this won't happen in the future?
Well, I've done that four times and it continues to drop the Freelancer rep when Zoner rep is the one that I'm tagged. I've used the /restart command every time. I've gone out to Barrier Gate and it's the same thing every single time.
I'm starting to get quite irritated. Wasted like three hours trying to get this to work.
Go go Barrier and get a triple (quad possible?) and you should have full Freelancer IFF. You shouldn't need to drop rep anything. Zoner rep will go up but it shouldn't be full. If it is, then it is a bug.
Edit: If you are trying to drop rep a rep that isn't the highest rep you are doing it wrong. The drop rep command works only on the rep that is your current IFF. (At the very bottom flashing).
I un-docked from the Barrier Gate and it says "New Affiliation: Zoners"
I did /droprep and it dropped the Freelancer rep. I undocked again and it said, again "New Affiliation: Zoners"
Not sure what's wrong, but it could be bugged. I'll give it another try. Got lucky and turns out I had an extra day off work, so I've got some extra time to try and make this work.
