Ok it states no country of origin for name's. Makes sense, but what about ship's out there named for system's/bases. such as Texas/Oklahoma/Viginia and so on. I am from Toronto, and was going to make a char with that in the name,so would that be a violation?
I see many LN/and other Lib cap's with names similar to this. Is that OK? Maybe if it is NOT where you live?
Opinion's please, and to any with such name's i do not mean any offence. Or prejutice.
That rule is to stop people from plonking tags indicating their own nationality onto the front of their names, AFAIK. Since that is nothing to do with RP. Naming a ship after a place and it being in-character is just fine.
Have a couple of ships like that myself - one is named after an English county, and another after an American city.
In response to this, the Liberty Navy has (official/unofficially?..not sure ) taken to naming its ships along the lines of the way the US Navy names its ships,to some extent.
I was thinking HMCS_Toronto Not sure if this is more Liberty, or bretonia.
HMCS ---Her Majesty's Canadian Ship--- Toronto is in Liberty but Majesty sort of implies Bretonia???

Liberty does not have a queen, neither does Canada. HMS naming is exclusively used for Bretonian captital ships.
Learn Liberty naming conventions, LNS is what you should use.
There is a world of difference between the LNS-Chicago or a HMS-Wales and a (RUS)SomeCryllicWord or [RA]DeathHacker. Guess which one the rule addresses?
Liberty capital ship naming conventions are either LNS-name or SFC-name (not sure about LSF gunboats, though); I've tweaked the latter to LSFC on my own cruiser on account of people asking what SFC means so often.
