If the value of a ship including credits, the resale value of equipment and the hull exceeds 2.1 billion your character will become corrupted, cash transfers lost and bad things will happen to your account.

Is it possible to have an estimate of the maximum reselling value of a fully equipped ship in Disco?
I mean, what could be (aproximately) the reselling value of the most expensive ship equipped with the most expensive guns, engine and shield (and without AU)? Does anybody have a clue about it?
It could be usefull to know it, in order to define a kind of "security level" for cash on a single char.
Incidentally... is the reselling value 1/3 of the price, right?

Visit a Shipsdealer on a station. The value he gives for your ship is the resale value. Including all cargo and guns and other equipment. Make a mental note of that amount.
Then deduct that amount from 2.1 Billion, and you have the max amount you can have on that character.
Since equipment and guns and cargo value vary between players with the same ship, you can't give a baseline that all can go after. It's based on whats on THAT particular ship, at any given time.
So best bet is to include a "buffer zone" of maybe 50 million, so as not to go over the limit, due to a high value cargo if you dock at a particular station.

It's 30% actually for equipment and 50% for the hull.
Now, you're saying 2.1 billion so I'm assuming that this is being rounded down from 7FFFFFFF? I know that's getting all technical, but it might well make the difference in some cases.
For info, a CAU 8 BS can be sold for about 700~800M to the NPC, guns included
That's how the problem can come the easier way...
If you want a better insurance, make all your characters not have the 90th rank.
Start of 90th rank to the 2.1 billion costs about 1 billion credits, so you're safe if you do it.
