This is a long range atillery battle I've been trying to push in my last few fights. Instead of slamming each other with regular turrets. We attempt to deal most damage through mortars, missiles and infernos, and at the most Cerberus cannons.
He's Order ID'd. And before you seek a flaw in my observation, yes, Guard.
This is how cap battles should be fought, not like a bunch of idiots drifting and jousting like fighters. Yes, I know you drifted and jousted a couple of times, but it was significantly less than the encounters that made me lost faith in my cruiser.
-Edit- ^ in short, it was most excellent.
-Double Edit- That was insanely close at the end too. 0.0
Hm... perhaps 'normal' capship turrets should be removed entirely, and replaced with more anti-fighter weaponry for close range. That would force caps to use heavy weapons exclusively against other caps.
Just tell me one thing now, by watching chat Order vessels didn't planed to attack you. But no, you were the smart one, to attack 2 Sair dreads with 3 BC's?
You were looking for fight, when it got out of hands you fell bad, blahh....
Ohh, and your engagement notice is epic, you say nothing, just chating in group, then suddenly "open fire, take legate down" and you start shoting in same second as you wrote that message.

You do know that that's only part of the vid right? fraps has a habit of segmenting the movies after 3.90 gigs, so the engagement notice was left out. Also the order was aching for a fight just as much seeing how the were less than 10k from Dabadoru. But that's not the point I was trying to make. I was trying to compare the bland rock, rock, rock, to the fight in the movie above were things like dodging and strafing were actually meaning fully, not just rubbing our asses together. But despite this not being a thread complaining about PvP power players, I guess there still isn't any way you could've know that. I state it in bold arial next time for you specifically.
