If you know of Ronnie Barker, he needs no introductions.
To those who don't know, YouTube him. He is a great comedian who never need to resort to the 'shock' factor of being a comedian which borders what is funny and abusive. Ronnie was funny, clever and knew his way with words. In today's culture, he is out of date, to me he is a genius, clever, perfect actor and a master writer.
I don't expect a lot of you to acknowledge him, but I do. He is my hero. Why? He was funny, smart and himself without resorting to the dark side of comedy. Not to mention he was epic with Ronnie Corbett.
Ronnie Barker, while you may no longer be with us, your memory as a comedian, and actor and a friend to all of us, will live on.
