Rheinland fighter infocards

During a discussion about the reforming Federal Police between me and Tomtom (The Sandvich Thief), we came accross a few things mentioned in the infocards that were misleading in some way. Even though they are minor things, they point at ways of ship usage that are otherwise in-RP.

Wraith

The following are extracts from these two infocards (yes, they are like that in-game too), highlighting the problem:

Phantom - 72-ARKM-G27 Rheinland Light Fighter

Primarily used for police work and interception, the Phantom is a staple of the Military Police units in Rheinland, and deservedly so.

Compare this to:

Wraith - 90-ARKM-N45 Rheinland Very Heavy Fighter

[...]

This vessel is highly restricted, much like its lighter brother. Only elite Military Police units are allowed this expensive craft, along with authorized military personnel.

The point is, on both infocards, "Military Police" is mentioned as the primary user of the craft. Whether it is the Military or the Police, it cannot be decided, since such thing as "Military Police" does not exist and if you click on the hotlink in the wiki, it takes you to the Military faction page from the Phantom and to the Police faction page at the Wraith. It incorrectly states that the two factions are actually one and are users of the same vessel. Even though we discussed with The Sandvich Thief that we do not mind each other using the crafts, it should be stated clearly that the Phantom is used by the Rheinland Federal Police, while the Wraith is a Military vessel, as it is clearly states that the Mjolnir is a Federal Police craft.

The corrections I advise are the following:

I think this would be a rather small, yet logical correction to define ship usage.

I am actually hesitant about restricting ships to only police or only military, because it does have the potential to become a problem if say the RFP and RM leadership arent getting along, then the RFP can say the RM cant use the LF and the RM can say the RFP cant use the VHF. I think what is needed is a fix on the infocard, just clearing up that it can be used by both.

Why not just add the word "and" between Military and Police?

The thing is, the [RM] doesn't have the Phantom-class listed as a ship available for use, neither do we have one single craft of that sort in service, while the RFP| actually does list the Wraith as a ship available to them in restricted amounts (http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=57714). Hence did I propose the modification of the Phantom infocard to list it as a primarily Police ship and the Wraith, while being listed as a Military vessel, would be also mentioned to be available to the Police force in restricted amounts. Again, I could only bring up the Mjolnir as an example, it's a Super Heavy Fighter, strictly in Police service, so I don't see what harm splitting ship usage like that would mean.

Either way, the Military Police part needs to go.

I am hoping to restrict the Wraith as much as possible, because I don't really want to see the Polizei turning into the Rheinwehr. Besides, I'm sure that the Rheinwehr could use the Phantom if any of their pilots wanted to.

But, I do not want to see Rheinwehr pilots flying Mjolnir's. Neither do I want Polizei pilots flying Bergelmir's and Fafnir's.

So dont, talk to Malexa and work it out, but I dont want to remove the ability for independent Rhienland military players from using a light fighter, and I dont want to remove the ability for independent police players to have a VHF. Since the tech chart and faction approval started, it just seems that people want ships they can control. The police should be able to use a VHF without running to the military faction for approval, and the military should not have to run to the police for approval to fly a light fighter. I guess the reason for the ship restrictions between House Militaries and Police forces would be to make the two factions more different. The more differences there are, the better the thing is. As for indies, the difference between an independent Police officer flying a Wraith and an independent Military officer flying a Wraith is that the Police officer can't go to Texas, really. I see your point though.
