This is an idea I've been working on, because I want to see a Liberty Cargo ship that has 4000-4500 with 9+ guns. Still a WIP, let me know what you think.
Suggestion though, the Liberty cargo ships have a blunt prow (see Mammoth). If you could make the front like the Mammoth, it would be a great addition to the Liberty line as it's combat transport.
With the Shire, the Akegata, Jinx's Rheinland one, and this, the lines of all houses would be pretty complete.
Yeah the mastodon is okay for someone who has a wing of escorts but this would be more like the Shire.
I can do a remake with a blunt prow but I hate that look, I like more of the Dread inspired look, the lines on the Liberty Dreadnought are really nice.
This looks more like a next generation supertransport than a porcupine. I'd suggest making it more "squat" and adding visible armor to it to make it look more rugged. Also try to keep in mind where the guns are going to go- putting guns on sleek sides makes me sad.
It's certainly a nice ship, but right now it isn't what you set out to do with it.
The back end also makes me think of the Liberty Rogues... this might be modifiable into a replacement/supplement for the Pirate Train.
I have a few turret positions, three one either side, and one on the front and one on the back 8 in total. I see a few more places I could put some. Anyways I added some more armor-ish pieces. As is it clocks in out 2228 poly count.
Okay, now THAT is starting to look like the sort of transport you might beat up cruisers with. From the front it reminds me of the Monitor. Good work. I'd offer more useful stuff but I'm currently getting skype raped.
I'm liking it. Very nice design, and would definitely buy one if it turns out to a mid transport range.
Now how about the skin?
"The thirteen saloons that had lined the one street of Seney had not left a trace. The foundations of the Mansion House hotel stuck up above the ground. The stone was chipped and split by the fire. It was all that was left of the town of Seney. Even the surface had been burned off the ground.
Nick looked at the burned-over stretch of hillside, where he had expected to find the scattered houses of the town and then walked down the railroad track to the bridge over the river. The river was there."
