Yeah. I believe this is quite a common error. The connection to the server has been lost. Either the server you were connected to has crashed, or your Internet connection to that server is not working.
I looked around for already created threads about this but from what I have seen I'm different. Those problems have it with all servers, I have it with one. The good one (IMHO). Discovery Freelancer RP 24/7. It says there's 190 (give or take about 10) players connected, so it's obviously not everyone. It disappeared from my server list a couple of days ago, and I assumed it was maintenance or just a temporary disconnect. The next day I couldn't connect because of this problem. I've looked around and I can connect to the other servers just fine. I tried reinstalling the game and screwing around with FLMM (nothing major just deactivating reactivating mod etc.), but nothing works.
Sort of. The server drops anyone above the 198 limit, as FLHook and FLServer keep open two slots for admin/FLHook connections.
EDIT: Also, Hanshin, people in the Character Select screen don't show on the logged in players number, but still count.
