Yeah the resources Water and oXygen Are mineable very easily.. Water and oxygen is Vital for stations and to breathe.. Water again is..
Why do these 2 seem to be the left out stuff? REally bad sell... about 10$ or 5$ For some oxygen and water? Even for stations? Since its easily mined?
These 2 are forgotton... It drops about 20 or 50 sometimes
Soo really... Water and Oxygen are useless(?) And pointless to trade or mine?

It is because they are so easy to mine. That is why they sell cheap. Unless u haul it to a few Border world planets, and stations. Then it pay's 200-300. You will also make friends of some of the not so nice Factions.

There's a lot of it.

It really isn't that valuable a commodity in the end. There are entire planets that are mined for water etc. Considering that humans on Earth are enroute to overpopulation, yet still do have enough water (relatively), I'd say an entire planet full of it could do a few stations alright.

Corn doesn't cost a whole lot in the USA.. Why? Because there is a lot of it. Millions of acres of corn..

Water and Oxygen are even more abundant. In space as well, since Sirius has the vast Barrier to get water from if they need it. Also remember, water never disappears. It goes back into the environment and get filtered naturally. So the water you're drinking today is the same water that was here million and millions of years ago. It's not a rare resource..

Staff roles:

This can serve as my response to the other thread about compressed oxygen also.
Should oxygen be available for purchase from every space station and planet? Think about the consequences if the answer is no.
Should water be purchased or sold on every space station and planet?
Should food rations be purchased or sold on every space station and planet?
When you answer those questions, then the impact on trade for these commodities should be clear.

Every commodity has a role to fill, and it is not the role of every commodity to fund your Cap VIII.

That and every station has to have a commodity on it.

Think of em as placeholders.
