In straight vanilla, mollys and outcasts are not allied. so, the factions get along famously, reference news articles and rumors.

in disco, if img npcs like you, mollys don't, and vice versa. none of my molly chars can land at the hood, because it is hostile. as one rep improves, the other drops....


The mollys are a rather hard faction to fathom, they fight the bretonia military....
yet some news reports has them supporting the military against the Kusari forces...
they are allied to outcasts, yet supposedly allied to img as well who are one of the worst enemies of the outcasts...

the corsairs is the only bit i actually understand :crazy:

everything ingame except our piracy points to the fact that we are helping the bretonia military.


should we just fight everyone?

On the reasons Mollys help BAF against KNF is;

Mollys might be at war with BAF over Dublin and its gold, but they are still Bretonian. Therefor, KNF invading Bretonia is going to get a response from all Bretonians, Mollys included.

The molly's are the youngest pirate group in sirius and are largley inexperianced.

Having said that, they help the BAf because Kusari rule would be worse than current rule. (Devil you know)

The IMG have the worst gold field in dublin and have a hard time mining. The molly's have the best but have no where to spend it. Mutual relationship. The IMG however must keep face in front of the law so they must aid the lawful over the molly.

They hate the corsairs not because they like the Outcast better, but because the outcast are not trying to steal the molly's gold. (Openly anyway)

That clear the molly's up any?

mollys and img liking you are mutually exclusive as far as bases/npcs go.

Just watch what corp's you shoot at some The IMG likes or visa versa. And if police are near no matter your rating the IMG will default to the position of the police.

Just don't get to friendly with the outcasts. That will save you some trouble. Molly are only using them anyway. If all else fails, shoot the crud out of BMM. IMG hates them as much as the Molly's do.

unfortunately the game has mollys and outcasts linked, so if you do missions or bribes your outcast rep goes right up, and img rep goes right down.

i guess this is the problem i am seeing.

its funny getting a bribe from img on the hood, and then the hood attacking you for it xD

This is an odd one I'm afraid, and one I have not had to deal with directly. I do have one lawful char that
mainly deals with Corsairs, so in that respect, the Outcasts and the Mollies are normally pretty friendly.
The result of this is the IMG go horribly red ... Still havn't got my head round it.
The empathies need a little look at I think, especially from the Mollies point of view. The Outcasts and the
IMG are deadly enemies anyway, but the Gaelic brethren suffer from their friendship, along with anyone
who hates the Corsairs, and not the Outcast Alliance.
