1st - DiscoveryGC feedback style.
2nd - my own feedback.
So, brace yourself, here it comes....
DiscoGC:
- The overall design sucks. I hate the colors and I think you got no skills at all. So, might as well delete Photoshop and do not attempt to make anymore art ! Trust me, just don't.
- The quality of the pic is sooooo bad, i wonder if you got it from a paper in a bus stop toilet? I mean, come on, whats up with that? We no know how to use google com nau ? You foo ?
- Why you trying to make something, when you got no skills ? Come on, do not embarrass yourself like that. Did I mention to you that you have no skills and should not make any art?
- What's up with the overall color? Are you having a blue-ball day and trying to project it through your art work?
- Did I tell you the TB's are bad?
Anyway, P., you got the idea.
Now I will give you my feedback:
- The overall design is interesting and quiet fresh and unique. One thing that immediately got my attention is the right text panel. Let me explain what I mean. Left image panel has clear boundaries and is clearly defined as a separate object, while the right panel is just 2 lines connected to the image frame. They appear to be floating and quiet empty, also the text is just in the air. And both top and bottom lines/carcass has nothing to hold it together. To fix that, you could add a transparent screen between those 2 lines, make it transparent 50-85%, depends on what you like, give it a square pattern overlay, so it would appear like a screen. And you could add a couple of "connecting" pipes or some sort of a body underneath the whole composition, to tie it all together and give it a more solid feeling, a feeling of 1 solid object.
- "Completed" text should be on the same level, add more dots to the middle phrase to have them lined up.
- Text is fine.
- When you will make as screen, if you will, perhaps LN logo should be set on overlay/soft light or 50% fill, to make it appear that it is a projection, not a picture on top of another picture.
- The wires could be done better and easier: Use pen tool to create whatever outline you want, making it smooth, then use Liquify filter to add more curves to the wire. Wire should be 2-3 pixels. Then select the flat wire and give at a bevel. Bevel should be smooth, play around with the settings to make it look the way u like it.
- The buttons on the image screen are not clearly visible and should be re-done.
- Bevel on the image frame is too sharp, make it smoother. Also, play around with Contour and Glass Contour to make it look more interesting.
- Picture itself should have more contrast. That is where you play with Levels.
- And to make it fancy, you could add some noise to it, is a transmission, perhaps some distortion is taking place.
To wrap it up, the hardest thing is to get the overall design down and you have it. What I pointed out are just minor cosmetic changes, which are not hard to do.
