Like if your character has a background, and for some reason chose to use Ona as his face, that's kind of okay.
Running around as the character, the same way the character does, with the character's goals, right from other media, is kinda bad.
I think you hit it right if you can distinguish the difference between Ona and your character.
Of course. Like I said, I haven't imported anything besides the art and the name, the latter of which I asked openly for suggestions on. I don't plan on acting like Ona straight from the comic, nor do I anticipate having a greatly defined reason for my character to wear the mask ('choose Ona as his face') unless the mood for writing up a long winded post in the Bios section strikes me. I'm not sure why just because he's a comic book character that if he has a different name and the same picture he still has to act like Ona.
For instance, I don't expect Valentine to act like Dante simply because that's who you chose to represent your Phantom's appearance.
This boggles me. It's just a picture and a variable.
