Felix wanted me to post this for general feedback.
To-do:
-Slim forward pylon so it doesn't look like a giant tongue fondling a tank.
-Add midline supports to the forward pod
-Add sensible weapons pads
-Learn how to texture

you should make some sort of sensor antennae thing on it too give it some character. but i like the general design, it would be a good replace for the import
Personally I like the model when he presented it to me, because it keeps the appearance of being able to do the function it was designed to do. As for the stats like cargo, hull, loadout, etc.... it'll have to remain the same as the original. There is a reason for this, an economical and profitable reason. We'll all wait and see on that but for the model here. I really do like it and it certainly works, in my opinion, as a great replacement for one of our imported ships. (last one left is Garanchou to replace)

I like it, don't get me wrong, it just doesn't fit the name really.
Unless you planned to change that as well?
Well, the only reason it's still referred to as the Whale is because that's what everyone's used to calling it from 4.84.
It's technically the Kujira.
TLC is forthcoming, of course, and there's not a whole lot of logical places to put guns, anyways, so no worries about that.
One thing to note, though, is that at the current scale, if a normal Transport is a city bus, this would be the Hindenburg.

I actually lol'd.
And as for the Whale part, I did not know that, being a newb ><
And Alas, I forgot that it IS the GMG ship...
So yes, it does fit the bill quite nicely:D
Poll question: Does the front pod need horizontal stabilizers, or does it look okay?
Changelog:
-Thinned and rounded the support beam
-Brought the bridge forward, added vertical support
-Vertical support for rear of front pod, removed horizontal stabilizers
I'm sure I did other things, but that's what I remember.
I'm not exactly happy with the front pod support. Feels too lumpish.

It's A) an import, and B) a container transport ostensibly built by the Gas Miner's Guild. Oxymoron.
I'm sure you have some good reasons and what, but one line saying not to isn't horribly, er, useful.
Can I get some more information, please?
