Alright, say you're a marginal fighter.
Would you
sacrifice
50% of your damage
for a projectile that was 3x bigger?
This could be mounted as an additional thingy in the shield/thruster menu, but I'm not sure it could be made at all.
QUESTIONS?
50% bigger? so its really really easy to hit a target? wouldnt it be more fun to learn how to aim, set your gun groups properly so they're not putting your aim off? there is a tutorial about it somewheres.
btw, my aim is terrible, even after playing this game for a gazillion years

Suggestion was 3x bigger. Would help with tricky targets such as LF's and other things.
What are we talking about exactly? Do you mean on fighters, bombers, transports, ect.?
I think maybe 10% damage would be okay, increasing projectile size really wouldn't do much good but I can see people being willing to try out a 10%/3x combo.
