Custom DOOM/DOOM II WADs?

I've been thinking about downloading or even making some custom WAD files for DOOM.
The DOOM games I have are the Steam versions of The Ultimate Doom, DOOM II, DOOM II Master Levels, Final DOOM and DOOM 3 (With RoE).
The classic DOOM games on Steam run on a DOSBox.
Will I still be able to use and make custom WADs?

You can launch .wad files with a simple command line.

I don't have steam version of doom so how the folders and files look like i'm not sure, but when i mod my doom/doom 2 etc. I use Zdoom. It's a simple program which after installed in the doom folder, you simply drag any .WAD file of a mod onto the zdoom.exe and voila! You got the mod running. Below is a video i uploaded, gameplay video of simpsons doom.
