We are trialing a system where by ship purchases are prohibited unless you have the correct ID.
The restrictions are based on the tech chart, ship and ID infocards. No doubt there are some mistakes in the data.
Post here if you are unable to purchase a particular ship and believe that you should be able to buy it. Don't forget to state the ID you had at the time of purchase. Equally if you buy a ship and believe that you should not have been able to buy it, post the details here.

Now can we have the Nomad Trial ID adjusted to set Nomads to friendly-neutral but not enough to get an ID?
EDIT: Would need to modify gun purchases there also.

It does restrict white cells, because the goal here is to drive down unnecessary sanctions. White tech requires permission. The best way to get that tech if you do have permission is to set up the ship as the correct faction first and then change it.
But as a standard you won't be able to buy tech you don't have permission to use. Which includes Caps on non-guard ID'd ships.
As for SRPs we will come up with one method or another, either you can go the above route for white tech and then notify the Admins to make it all as it should be, or we may decide that we'll just sort it out remotely. Need to talk that one through. We'll ensure you get an answer sooner rather than later.

What would if I were to buy an ID, then a ship that is allowed by my ID - but then undocked, docked somewhere else and bought an ID that doesn't allow the ship?
Without gaining the permissions first? Well that's a 6.2 right there, and the best thing about the new plugin is we'll know it's deliberate. So you get slapped.
