Not much can be said about Blue that hasn't been said already.
She's basically the 'head' of Liberty's Finest with a healthy obsession for the color blue, evident in her blue-dyed hair and usually blue attire, which is where her nickname originates from.
Being a former Fleet Captain of the Hellfire Legion it should be noted that she still maintains ties to that organization, in particular to the Legion's current Lord Commander, Reynard Joyeuse.
Even after her seperation from the Legion that came with her sister's death she did maintain some respect for it and never really cut off all lines tracing back there just the same, although it's obvious that she's running her business independent from the Legion.
[color=#CC99CC]Her 'business' being anything that involves shady deals, piracy, - or preferably extortion - theft, fraud, occasional smuggling and the like.
Though it's evident that she does most of those just for the fun of it by now and prefers to pull various kinds of mostly destructive stunts instead, simply because she's gotten pretty damn rich over time.
So in short, she's out there and doing business in order to do things nobody else would be daring or suicidal enough to do, just because it's fun.
Things like trying to 'pirate' the Order for an Osiris, using Alaska as a gateway for trips into the Omicrons and so on and so forth or just kicking rear-ends in her trademark Titan.
The latter being a kind of 'last gift' from her deceased sister Grace in a sense, as without Grace neither Blue nor the Legion would've ever known a gateway to anywhere existed inside Zone-21 in the first place.
Blue herself is a rather nice individual though.
While she can be a cold-blooded businesswoman when necessary, she's someone who prefers it if people get along nicely and shake hands around her.
Bluntly put because non-violent solutions are usually better for any kind of business than violent and explosive ones.
If push comes to shove however, she won't hesitate to opt for the latter, and few things can be as scary and intimidating as Blue quietly standing in a corner without saying a word, a devil's smile on her lips while observing the poor fool who just screwed-up big time and has hell on Earth coming his way as payback.
Though that has become a rarity at the moment as she simply likes to have a good time all-around, be it while working or not.
When not doing business she personally takes care of the Stellar Ranger's crew and Liberty's Finest, making sure as much as she can that they all have a good time just the same.
And when not doing that?
Well, let's just say that Blue and Viva have quite the relationship going on and are two very happy people in a not-so-happy universe.
Few actual facts are known about the Highwayman, or just 'Highway' for short.
He used to be a pretty well-known Lane Hacker once, working in various different areas of that organization for a very long time until he was found by Blue on Alcatraz Depot.
He was lingering around and busily trying to work out a deal with the Liberty Rogues in order to exchange his Lane Hacker Gunship for one of the Rogues' Gunboats.
Things weren't working out too well for him however, but luckily enough Blue was in a rather kind mood and figured she'd pull a couple strings, since she remembered the few rather nice encounters she had with him from her time back in the Hellfire Legion.
Highway himself was very pleased with how things were working out, and the nice guy he was, he asked Blue what he could do to return the favor.
[color=#CC99CC]She asked him to work for her, an offer he happily accepted for various reasons.
Being a man who usually keeps to himself by nature, he never had been interested a lot into being part of any particular faction or organization, nor in the good old fame and fortune game.
Working behind the scenes for Blue just looked like the nice way to have some peace and quiet on top of getting to work with the things he's interested in the most.
As a matter of fact, there's only one thing that Highway is interested in above all others: Technology.
Being more than adept at doing all kinds of hacking and programming work, he also works on cybernetic implants and finer parts of ship and communications equipment, navigational systems, artificial intelligence-related coding and technology.
Well, actually whatever else there is that looks 'high-tech' and catches his attention
One can hand him access to a regular banking terminal and a couple minutes later said terminal will be spewing out all the credit cards located within.
A supposedly non-traceable transmission?
With the electronics installed aboard his ship, he will find out where it came from, who sent it, what color the underwear of said person had at the time the transmission was sent and what he or she ate that day, if possible.
An impenetrable firewall? No problem for Highway, he'll get through it in no time.
In short, the Highwayman is a living encyclopedia of all things related to any kind of code and technology.
And he does have the knowledge to put it to use as well, which is why he his an 'honorary member' of Liberty's Finest.
Despite the fact that he does work for Blue he's actually not seen in the field often and usually spends most time aboard his personal Gunboat, the 'Lost Highway' - a ship Blue has been seen borrowing from time to time.
What he works on while aboard the ship is his own business, and if anyone else knows what he's doing then it's Blue, who happens to be the only person he actually trusts.
Quite big a favor on his end, which Blue kindly returns by letting him do however he pleases with no strings attached at all.
[color=#CC99CC]Kaze Nelson Reidman Dagon and Jordy Meller are lovers and [color=#CCEECC]together forever in every sense of the word.
They are a quite unique Mercenary couple and just happened to start working for Blue one day which, as time progressed, earned them the latter's attention.
Both are extraordinary Mercenaries in their own right, and both happen to be former pilots of the Colonial Fleet - Jordy being a former Captain and Kaze a former Colonel, on top of being the Colonial Republic's first female Consul in history.
She asked him to work for her, an offer he happily accepted for various reasons.
Individuallly speaking, Kaze herself is said to have spent her later childhood under the Blood Dragon's supervision on Kyoto.
Some snippets of her past here and there suggest a connection to the Liberty Security Force, until she re-surfaced in the Taus as a Mercenary and later on joined the ranks of the Colonial Fleet.
Jordy's past on the other hand is mostly unknown and shrouded in mystery.
Only a handful of things are known about him, partially due to his rather calm and quiet nature and his preference for 'low-key' work that doesn't grab any attention.
One of his more notable known deeds is that he is at least partially responsible for the death of the legendary Hellfire Legionnaire, and later Mercenary, Jason Moore.
Some time later on he appeared as a Mercenary in the Taus, just as Kaze did.
This is where both their respective histories merge, as it didn't take long until they both fell in love with each other.
Some time after Jordy entered the ranks of the Colonial Fleet like Kaze had done before and both attained the positions mentioned above, residing in the Taus as a happy couple.
It wasn't until a 'vacation' of theirs that they stranded in Liberty.
Be it to tie up loose ends or whatever, the reason for why they were in Liberty is theirs and theirs alone to know.
The relevant part in regards to Liberty's Finest is that they did end up doing Mercenary work for Blue.
And they did it damn good.
So good that Blue took a closer look at them both, something that ended up with her and Viva getting to like the couple a fair lot.
It didn't take long for Blue to realize that Kaze and Jordy were what she would call 'good people', ones of the kind that could use a safe haven in this hostile universe.
And so she offered them a place aboard the Stellar Ranger, with quarters of their own and everything else included, but not a single string attached at all.
An 'honorary membership' so to say, one that came with a place to stay at when times got rough and fecal matter hit the proverbial fan.
Kaze accepted for them both and now they may reside aboard the Stellar Ranger, free to come and go how and whenever they please, not even bound to Blue or her business in any way, shape or form in the least.
It's worth a mention that while aboard the ship they prefer to keep to themselves most of the time, rarely leaving their quarters when they're not going out to space to do whatever it is they do.
Even though they're quite different personality-wise - Kaze being chatty and sometimes on the lookout for trouble whereas Jordy is more the quiet and cautious type - it seems that they do really share quite a wonderful relationship, and aside from some non-serious attempts of Viva's to get into Kaze's pants, everyone aboard the Ranger lets them be in peace.
On a more humorous note, Kaze has taken a great liking to the Ranger's cuisine, especially the 'Squidspleen Burger', ravaging it with gusto and apparently developing a dislike for the Squids as well.
She actually took the 'Eat me!' line to heart and changed it to a more fitting 'Eat you!', even.
At first glance he's your typical good-looking, middle-aged Libertonian guy. Tall build, fairly muscular, clean-shaven, well-dressed and well-mannered with that aura of confidence around him wherever he walks, but what is behind the veil is a much more complicated picture with a rather tragic history of lost love and guilt, of rage and grace. A born Libertonian, he spent most of his lifetime defending his home as an utmost loyal member of the Liberty Security Force, and he was actually quite happy with that until a certain assignment that ended up with him taking part in the assassination of two people who happened to be the parents of the sisters Grace and Natalie Callahan. While that hadn't been a major turning point in his life by itself, it became one once he met Grace, during a period of time when she wasn't yet overtaken by the thirst for vengeance that would have later on led to her joining the Legion, and they two became friends in a way.
And for Angel friendship grew into something that would lead to his inevitable downfall.
[color=#CC99CC]Love.
He hadn't realized yet that the woman he had fallen in love with was the actual daughter of the people whose deaths he was responsible for, but once he did he started to question his actions at the time, started to second-guess, started to regret, and what was worse for him, he hesitated. Unable to bring himself to confess to Grace he kept his feelings for her hidden and swore to himself that for the things he did, he would keep her safe at least, no matter what, until some day he maybe, maybe could tell her the truth.
And so he did, until Grace, at the time Star Colonel of the Hellfire Legion, got shot down in Zone-21. Angel had failed to live up to his own oath and, once he found out, most parts of the man he had been simply died. His hopes of ever being able to make up for what he had done and tell the woman he loved what his feelings were after were shattered, and whatever of his life was still left around him lost all meaning.
A man turned into a machine, living for the sake of existence, but nothing more, nothing less.
Driven by the one thing he suffered from the most.
Guilt.
It wasn't until he came over a report that prominently featured the words 'Liberty's Finest' and name of a 'Natalie Callahan' that something in him moved.
The same old guilt that had been lurking somewhere in his cold heart for years surfaced and brought the latter to life again.
As he was still a member of the Security Force at that time, he used all the options he had available to him and started to dig.
And he had to dig very deep until he got his hands on the background for the Callahan family and that assignment he had been sent on time ago.
It was that, just a single file, which brought this carcass of a man to life again, and with life and guilt came something new.
Rage.
Rage directed at his superiors, who never had told him everything he could've known about that assignment back then.
Rage directed at the Security Force as a whole, whom he now knew to be responsible for Grace's death.
Rage at himself for having been so foolish to believe that he had known everything there was to know, and for having wasted time not making a move, drifting along in the stream of time without a purpose.
The latter would change quickly, but the same rage and the same old guilt would stay.
He cut off all ties to his old life and set out to find Natalie at all costs, using every method, every Credit, everything he had to find her.
And find her he did in the end.
One particular day as the Stellar Ranger was moored at Rochester he came aboard, wishing to talk to Blue herself.
Luckily for him she was in a good mood, and as they two crossed ways, he only spoke out one sentence.
It was the only thing necessary for him to say in order to be able to find out whether she'd give him the chance to make up for his failure.
I loved Grace Callahan.
The only thing everyone aboard the Ranger knows regarding the things that happened after is that Blue and him spent the rest of the day behind closed doors.
What they talked about even Viva, Blue's lover and most trusted friend, doesn't know.
But one thing is certain, Angel got his chance and now he is part of the Ranger's crew.
He's a man who prefers to keep to himself for his own reasons, never mentioning anything that could give anyone a clue about who he really is, called the 'Guardian Angel' by everyone around him because he will protect Blue and all the women close to her with utmost tenacity and force of will, no matter the cost and risks he must face, and without any regard for his own well-being.
And he's also a man who can't be bargained or reasoned with.
The tragedy of losing the only woman he ever really loved and his hatred of his own being have turned him into a someone who stands above the temptations that would affect mortal men.
Someone who becomes a divine savior in times of need, and a demonic nightmare to everyone who stands in his way.
