I trust that this message finds you well, Gunther.
We have a problem.
I have been suffering from morning sickness for a week now.
My sex drive has been uncontrollable.
Various parts of my body have become extremely sensitive to touch, irritatingly so.
And, most importantly,
"That" is late.
I trust you have enough knowledge of how girls work to know what this means. That night we spent together on Mecklenburg, that I can recall only snippets of - and you cannot remember at all - is the cause of this.
We need to talk. Either I can find you or you can find me. The discretion offered by the Junkers regarding delicate transactions will prove useful for our situation. I expect to see you outside my window at Vieques Shipyards in Puerto Rico ASAP. I will arrange for your permission to enter as a "business partner".
Send me a reply that you acknowledge this message. If I don't get one within a few days I'm coming for you, sweetheart - and I'll be bringing the Maelstrom with me.
Evangeline A. McDowell, CEO McDowell Company Fleet, signing out.
Rall slowly opened the envelope that had been handed to him by Feldwebel Hans Putzkammer; who wore something of a guilty expression on his face. Gunther's eyebrows furrowed slowly as he recognized the same neat handwriting that had littered most of the papers on his desk recently. It only took a moment's notice to figure out it was Eva's handwriting as he began to read slowly.
Gunther slowly looked the letter over, worried by what problem they could have. As he looked it over he let out a sigh of relief. "Morning sickness?" Maybe she just wasn't feeling well. "Uncontrollable sex drive?" What was new there? "Her...nevermind" he ignored the third point completely, assuming she was just giving out voluntary information again. Lastly, what the hell was "That?"
Rall looked over the rest of the letter without a clue as to what was going on, only assuming someone was upset at the mention of finding him with their cruiser. Leaning forward casually to pick up a pen and begin writing to satisfy what was probably Eva's natural hostile manner.
"As you're getting a reply, I'm sure you've realized your letter reached me, Evangeline.
As you may or may not be surprised to know, most of the details left in your letter I failed to see an issue with. There is also no need for threats, you've done me a great deal of favors which leaves me little reason to avoid you.
I will do something about coming to the location that you've specified, but obviously as the Major General of a military I can't just disappear on a whim. I will attempt to gain permission or wait until a chance to do so discreetly presents itself. Hopefully you will be able to help me understand a bit more easily in person, and you have my word I will appear at my earliest convenience.
