BUT!!! Before I do this, please tell me how I should be able to transfer the SIG picture for ma own use... wouldn't want all that hard work to go to waste, would we?
okay then... now that I know some ways to save ma sig...
...the real details begin...
As I've said in the title, there's a long list of criteria I want completed. But... to be more exact, I wanted the sig to fit the descriptions as exactly as possible for my pleasure.
Depending on the nearness to the following criteria, I might even pay 200M credits for it if it's REALLY awesome and following most, if not all, of the criteria. I realize the sig may include some starting-from-scratch details, but I hope the money would be well worth it.
Now here are the criteria:
1.) THE PEOPLE IN IT: (2) There only needs to be two people in it. Preferably anime (not particular about placing in real people, unless they REALLY fit the descriptions below)
---a.) The two are a man and a woman
---b.) The man... hmmm... Initially I wanted Keitaro from Love Hina, but since I saw someone already sporting Seta (which is VERY close to him), I'd let you guys try to find the most SIMILAR character to Keitaro instead. He's Leonardo Tigre.
---c.) The woman... Do you know one of the playable characters in the Metal Slug Series? The one with the glasses and red-hair (not sure about the hair)? I'd like her there in my sig. And NO not the in-game animation (the drawing-type). She's Milarosa Bloodstone.
---d.) The two are facing back-to-back, with that type of pose that they're trying to face each other, yet cannot. The guy, as the pose goes, is facing a bit upward, while the girls is tilted a bit downwards.
---e.) The lighting for the two is a bit dark and shadowed to show a hopeless/sad atmosphere. I prefer that they have different illumination to individualize them (like yellow for the man, and teal for the woman).
---f.) I'd prefer only up to the shoulders to be shown... Also, I wanted the two to "cut" the sig into two parts, where the man is facing to the right, and the girl to the left... sort of like two different dimensions of view...
2.) THE BACKGROUND: (2) Refer to 1-f...
---a.) I wanted the man to have on his side a Libertonian-like Star System that makes it clear it's showing a sunrise, giving off an atmosphere of peace and justice.
---b.) The woman would instead have a Nomad-themed Star System that shows off a sunset, giving off an atmosphere of chaos and despair.
3.) THE SHIPS IN IT: (2) There will be two. Lighting-adaptation to their backgrounds would be a significant factor. Angle would also do nicely.
---a.) The first one's for the man, and what I wanted was either a Luxury/Prison Liner that orbits the Star System... Not sure about the location or degree of depth, but I suggest it's facing towards the sunrise.
---b.) The second one... I'm really not sure. I was thinking of placing in a Keeper Light fighter, but any ship that says about the Nomads may do. Instead, this ship's looking away from the sunset, and moving to another location.
4.) WORDS: There will be two strings: one below each character, saying his/her respective name.
---a.) The font for the man is metallic, showing a bit of a Libertonian/Zoner-theme.
---b.) The font for the girl is Nomad-themed, but is still written in english and is clearly readable.
For the border, you can do whatever you want here, so long as it's not very noticeable. There is no definite time limit except just before the end of May, so go and do the best you can.

Oh yeah... on a side-note, the works I didn't choose, but openly said I liked, I'll at least pay 1M for it, because there's gonna be a lot of criteria, and there's bound to be some mistakes.

I'm wanting to make sure that I didn't scare the artists away with not only my long response time (cause I need to sleep too, and will do so shortly), and the large wall of text.
If you think the criteria is too demanding, you can PM me the things that may look too cumbersome to do.
one change at least: the characters don't have to be darkened: their original lighting will do fine, as long as their poses still apply.
If you would like me to make something for you, i require 100 mil up front before i even open photoshop.
Then after how ever many attempts to get your sig right and we still cant agree...ill send you back 50 mil.
I think this sig would be a nice challenge to make , but only on them terms.
I'll try my hand at this (says the man with the Seta Signature [Its seta, not Takahata, he's from Negima])
I'll still use Keitaro, just one of the earlier pictures (with his round glasses)
I'd also prefer to use a character from one of Akamatsu's works for the girl. This is for continuity purposes. going by the character description, I'd suggest Naru. but I also offer to do one with Toko-sensei from negima. I'd like to use her in something but right now, i cant think of anything for her myself.
If you have another character in mind, by all means, tell me. If it's from a manga, just tell me the name of it or get me a cleaned scan of it (black and white). I like to do my own coloring:)
the background i'll pull from my stockpile, and I'll do some custom ship renders. speaking of which, did you decide on your preference, Lux or the Prison liner?
please be patient with me though, I have one order waiting and I'm trying to juggle school and work. my only free time appears to only be wed afternoons -_-
But I'm not that rich-blooded. Would a 70M take-back be sufficient instead if it didn't work out?

Toko? hmmm... she's more preferable to one of the ITS-Vagabond's crew. I might have some use for her, but not for the time being... sorry.
For the man, round-glass Keitaro would be fine... but... it just doesn't feel like it belongs... but if the sig turns out good with him, maybe I'll might reconsider.

Oh you've read :yahoo:how about the picture of Naru on page 1 in chapter 102 (in Tokōbon 12, pg. 108) Incidentally, this is the same book that Keitaro shows up "Seta-fied"
