Prior to the nomadic infestation, Rheinland was one of the worst sectors being barely able to stand against several unidentified and deliberate attacks against mostly Kruger targets including manifested ex-rheinlanders in charge those who were autopsied and reported to be controlled by an extension of organic mind control. Dresden had almost fallen to be an outpost of the vicious plague and after losing Vogtland, Hessians -the last remnants of human activity in Dresden- were forced out of the system to retreat back to the Omega sector. Throughout the period New Berlin was infested as well, especially the surrounding space around the jump hole leading to Sigma-13 which was obvious to be the next step of operations. Intels reported that Hessians and the GMG were the first to encounter the terror and they partially managed to scatter some of these unknown fleets yet, defeat was inevitable for both since what they had faced was superior and deadly. It was certain that the entire balance and turn of events in Rheinland had been afflicted somehow by the immense capability of this unknown identity, which would be later on named as the Wild, a prototype cell of Nomad slaves branch slaughtering any lawful or unlawful target on their way. Rumours were being spread as these corrupted officers had been massing wrath fleets in a remote Omega system for some reason after being scattered by the Hessian and GMG engagements.
In this terrifying wake of events, The Scientific Counsel of Sirius Houses (SCSH) were now being relentlessly oppressed by the media and society itself to immediately enlighten the uncharted mystery at all costs. On the other hand, the policital chaos was thrown off and not only militarist headquarters of Rheinland but the Naval Alliance of Liberty and Kusari government were also keen on revising their political agenda wherein the priority for mass production of war industry had been similarly neglected decades ago.
Bretonia government had surprisingly been quite for a while about their allies chaotic situation despite being touted as the best place Rheinland military could rely on. Some sources indicated that the reason Armed Forces assuming a neglectful manner was that they had already given considerable losses in Tau-31. However, secret intels reported that Armed Forces were hesitating to move mass fleets through Omega sector while Cambridge was not safe anymore because of the coalition and brotherhood attacks. Therefore, Armed Forces preferred a defensive stance for the protection of Gateway shipments and some other civilian targets. The only other options to reach Rheinland which meant Liberty or Kusari space were impossible to use as well after the treaty signed between Liberty and Kusari government blockading all entries to house systems assuming that Bretonia and Kusari were still at war.
As professor Welsh from SCSH stated "In fact, the mysterious activity was nothing more than the forerunner of a dreadful nomad siege finding its source to exist from an unknown system which was accidentaly discovered first in the depths of Alpha and then in Gamma Omicron". The serious setback was actually revealed when scientists made it certain that the terror being spread within Dresden was only the beginning of a lot more to come.
Vlad Tomazsk Jail Notes
6 months before the infestation,
The gloomy atmosphere of the entrance hall was nothing more than an intensely cold welcome for the slaves and passangers after reaching the dynamic hydro-carbon coated barriers which obviously seemed to lead them to their last darkest destination. I was supposed to be a passanger, yet my companions knew very well that I was brought here in false pretences subject to severe interrogation and detention. The unfriendly lightining rods were dim as much as possible and very few were able to stare at what the guards were doing or talking about. Edges of the dark floor were deliberately slippery because of the released grease of lime slaker machines. The crawling crew seemed like a horrible siluette to my eyes just before turning the corner path of tarnished chain rods. While accessing the 13 th chamber, one of the passangers stumbled and heavily fell on an other passanger who was hopelessly trying to find his own path. The others behaving as they were completely unaware of what had just happened, continued their march indifferently and hastily with an ineffable anxiety. However, it did not take quite long for the anxiety blend with fear when the first row encountered a bold red light in the end of a tunnel leading to dark, mouldy cell walls with their utmost manifestation. It seemed where these unfortunate people were being dragged to was of no good...
In fact, Mactan had never been this much quiet for the entire last two decades and had it not been even a subject to be mentioned or talked about. The reason, rumours were already spreading around that some fierce and unfortunately underestimated squabbles had taken place within the recent grief tragedy that a dagger wing involved in by bizarrely being reported to go missing in midst engagement against a coalition squad, was actually the unsymphatic manner assumed towards the colony reporters, those who were digging any pinch of evidence for getting to the light out of a blurry chaos, by the organization members and some other higher ranked comrades. One of the most mentioned chaps, who is still predicted to be a secret operative only known with his code name the Blind had been recently touted to be acting against his own kind by involving in the part-time activities of an unknown research and development project. The only thing people knew about it was that he had summoned some of his old friends to propose an unknown trial package to the GMG in order to keep them at bay and provide their technological help.
Mactan Headquarters
With a loud and resolute voice, Commander Pashinin began his speech, knowing that all eyes stare at him with the utmost curiosity that a man could hold..
- Comrades, we are here to discuss the latest phase of our agenda. Lets keep it brief.
(an annihilating silence overwhelmed the previous atmosphere of the assembly hall while Pashinin gulped down to go on dropping the words of unfortunate facts)
- We do have a serious setback to comment and inspect about. The unknown project needs to be taken serious. Otherwise, any types of casualities would be obscure and possible.
(being recently graduated from the academy officer Boltzman forgot his role and interrupted the speech with great zeal in order to back the commander in his belief)
- We never felt ourselves inclined to take of em lightly. The flawed generations have already proved to make the worst mistakes by underestimating hostile plans and leaving us no credits in the way of facilitating our operations.
(commander was amused to be interrupted, yet he grinned because of the desire a new officer held, and he went on concealing his amusement)
- It is clearly understood officer, as far as I hope our fellow technicians and operatives will not fail but succeed in their mission to protect the Hacker presence. However, things are grim at the moment. Our plans have been undermined by our own kind and now we are facing the worst risk that is treason. Any traitor shall be subject to rapid execution without any questioning for ensuring those who think they could mock us and evade our wrath !!
(Pashinins mood was growing worse, since his face was red of undescribeable fury. After taking a short breath, he went on..)
