Sender: Stephen Drake Subject: Gate/Lane Part Contracts
~Message Begins~
Gentleman, I intend to make this brief, and I will not sugar coat the matter. Universal Primary Transports, and Kings of Freight transports as a whole are not fulfilling their contracts with Ageira Technologies. Transports from Pueblo are next to non existent from your companies, and this will of course not be tolerated.
With the Kishiro Contract nearly over the Administration has looked over all of our current contracts. Out of all of them, USI and KoF are in the worst state.
I am a tolerant man, and newly in my position as President of Ageira, which gives myself some level of apprehension with bringing this up. However, I am also fiercely loyal to my company, and your companies are damaging it with unfulfilled contracts.
As of this moment both contracts are void.
This seems like a dire turn of relations, but I assure you Ageira Technologies has every intention of reopening a contract, given certain criteria are met. Universal and Ageira has shared a good past, building Liberty together with Deep Space Engineering, but we cannot live on past deeds forever.
Should USI and KoF wish to reopen a contract with us, I will be contactable on this channel, and also my Skyp3 protocol for discussion. I will mention that in new contracts, Ageira will be looking for guaranteed quotas of Parts reaching Construction sites, to be monitored closely by us.
So give me the indication you wish to discuss, and we shall move on to the details at that point.
I hope we can share an invigorating and profitable future together.
Sincerely,
Stephen Drake
President
Ageira Technologies.
My sincere apologies for not replying sooner mister Drake, and by the way let me start by congratulating you on your new position. Hopefully as you say, we can share an invigorating and profitable future together. And I'm sure it won't be long before you reestablish order at Ageira. I'm only guessing but it seems your predecessor left Ageira in chaos and failed to keep proper records. So I won't hold it against you, that you are so ill informed. Infact I'd like to invite you and an Ageira inspection team to come to Trenton Outpost to clear this up. You see, mister Brown, in one of his wiser moments, set up a supply of Gate and Lane parts at Trenton Outpost. So you are unlikely to find us, or the KoF, on your records at Pueblo. As we are taking every care to maintain the high security Ageira require, we avoid Pueblo. Because, lets face it, as mister Brown pointed out when he re-made our contract, its so obvious what is being carried away from there. And as to your other point about them not reaching the construction sites. Well theres a good reason for that too and I'm afraid the responsability lies with Ageira also. Quiet simply your ships supplying our stock had all but stopped and the only one that we did see (looks down at a gun camera image on his desk)
namely one "Ageira|C.Winchester" was refused docking permission as he did not carry the correct Ageira identity documentation. So we satisfied the contracts as best as we were able given your unreliable supply to our base and lack of instructions. If you wish to reestablish that supply together with specific delivery instructions and use ships with the correct papers then we will happily lay on extra convoys, at no extra cost to you, to correct the short fall.
So fly over to see me and enjoy our hospitality, and a cup of this sweet Caravan tea (raises a fine bone china cup to his lips and sips) its delicious.
Yours Faithfully
Denny Crane (President of Universal Shipping Incorporated)
Despite my short tenure so far as president to Ageira, I would like to make one thing clear to you.
I am not a man that enjoys being played the fool.
Your attempts to discredit our former president, a man I hold great respect for, is not taken lightly.
While I cannot speak for what happened while Brown was in charge, Williams was a good president.
I see no evidence of this so called agreement to move parts to Trenton, and even if it did exist, there would most certainly be record of the Part movements to it. You accuse Ageira of being lax in it's supply to Trenton, and then supply me with an image of a new recruit, in his Starflier, proposing it as the only supply ship you've seen?
If he was denied docking rights, it was because he never asked for them in the first place, Mr. Crane.
As you suggested, a team will be dispatched to Trenton, to comb the station and ensure that you have not stored Gate/Lane parts. I ask for your cooperation, but I will contact the government and attain a warrant for the search if need be.
Do not try to turn the breach of contract upon Ageira with your petty attempts to discredit us.
The contract is void, that is not at discussion. USI ships are not authorised to carry Gate/Lane parts, and any attempts to do so will be met with necessary force.
If you wish to take legal action against Ageira Technologies, then by all means please do, our lawyers have had little to do recently.
However, if you wish to begin anew, and write a new contract, I am happy to do so.
Do not try my patience again, Mr. Crane, I may not be so willing to negotiate a third time round.
I do not wish to push such a delicate matter but I do need some assurance that the teeny cogs of USI are actually turning. Reports show your transports are still moving, though luckily nothing I consider important.
If you are discussing your own stance within your executive structure, do inform me of thus.
Otherwise I may be forced to assume you do not wish to recreate the contract.
Incoming Transmission Comm IDDenny Crane LocationTrenton Outpost Subject Re-initiating negotiations
Greetings President Drake,
First off I would like to apologize for my yet second late reply, as well as any stir my last transmission might have caused for you.
There has been some difficulty within our organization, forcing me to step aside from being President. However everything is now sorted and resolved.
At the top of my list is the re-initiating of negotiations with Ageira Technologies. I believe we can be each other of great service, and I'm sure there is a way we can rebuild a third contract in which we both agree to.
However because of my sudden absence from office I have lots and lots of work to catch up upon keeping me occupied to come over to your office and discuss things, I'm sure you can understand.
What would you say that we discuss the rebuild of a new contract between Ageira and Universal Shipping over a secured messaging channel?
I'm sure we can come to a agreement with the use of these messages. If you agree mister President would you be so kind to send me a message on my private comm channel?
If you rather want to discuss matters in another possible way please inform me about it.
Yet again, my sincere apologies about the whole mess.
Yours faithfully,
Denny Crane, President of Universal Shipping Incorporated.
