According to the wiki, Order Gunboat Missile Turrets have an explosion range of 16m, while all others(except the Dragonfly ones with 30m) have 50m. If it's not a mistake in the wiki, why is that so?

My guess; order GB missile turrets deliver more damage so its blast radius is reduced. They also consume less energy compared to damage they do so I guess someone who did the math for these turrets wanted to find a balance. And of course he did find it.
Only three house factions have more powerful missile turrets (with 50 explosion range) but those are Houses after all. They are able to invest more money in weapon research, blah blah.

Yes but, all four houses are far more loaded than the Order.
So... there you go.
Which brings me to another point, if that's the case shouldn't all the houses be way more advanced than the Order?
WARNING:RL comparison.
Because that would be like al qaeda having more advanced kit than the whole of the Western World or something.
(When we all know they are just *beep* with aks, adrenalin syringes and saudi arabian passports:lol:)
(Or whatever RL comparison you wanna go with.)
Remember that the Order used to be the branch of Liberty that managed new developments from the team working directly with Valhalla 1. When they broke off from Liberty, they took with them the best stuff Liberty had, stuff they didn't tell people about. Like battleships with cloaking devices.
However, as they no longer are receiving the top-end too-pricey-to-use stuff from Ageira, their technological dominance should have begun to fall off. They may have a lot of scientists, but they don't have Valhalla 1. Keeping pace? Sure, makes it easier to explain the fact that all ships are balanced. Being ahead? Not really.

I agree with you mate, they may have the top scientists but they don't have the money for it, surely.
