Landser carefully observed the Grand Admiral while she examined the list. She was sure that it shouldn't be a problem for the Order to provide the requested materials. Yet she was eager to learn if her assumptions were correct. After Bre'Delakorsa took a first glimpse at it, she read through it again. Three times. Her eyes slow and steady.
Ladser bit on her yaws without changing her indifferent mien. 'Crap,' she though 'I could have easily demanded more.' However, the compensation was still fairly appropriate and Landser needed the Order to be around at all cost.
When Bre'Delakorsa asked her about an estimated time frame for the vacation of the Base, Landser hesitated in light of the promise of a prompt shipment of the supplies.
"Well. Given ze fact that the base is located in a dense asteroid field which is embedded in a nebula that would limit us to freighters as well as the problem of the current level of occupation of our logistics department in general, we would need at least two weeks."
The Grand Admiral nodded as if she had anticipated such an estimation.
"A sufficient time frame. I will send a small team of engineers for an inspection of the station next week. We will send a convoy with your cargo as well as our crew for the base and necessary supplies when two weeks have passed."
"Fair enough." Landser said while taking the last file out of her drawer and handing it to Bre'Delakorsa.
"This file contains the list of required materials as well as all necessary informations about Eltman Base and the Munich system. It also discloses the location of all Bundschuh Bases and docking codes."
The Grand Admiral took the file without looking at it; keeping her sight on Landser.
"I would like our specialists to coordinate the first attacks against infested targets as soon as you have the base manned. The Volksfront already has several targets marked that can be dealt with until we get new intel from your recon vessels." Landser said. She looked at her empty drawer. She had everything she needed. For now.
"Are there any further matters you wish to negotiate?"
Mirage allowed a faint smile to emerge on her, she looked at the revolutionary leader and replied:
'For the time being, I believe that we managed to sift through enough problems. Matters concerning our future relationship will be dealt with when the right time arises.'
She made a slight pause, as the Admiral moved towards the end of the room, where the door was located. After which, Mirage faced Landser again and finished.
'It was a pleasure meeting you, Miss Landser. I trust that our two worlds will greatly benefit from one another.'
