Even though i am in the faction, i have some comments on our progress so far that i would like to share.
i have noticed that we have restricted ourselves too two capital ships (our two colony ships, carriers) we have also dedicated these as colony ships. They are never used in combat except occasionally for the defense of Orkney or during special/rare occasions that they get pulled into.
We had our little gap in role play and activity for awhile, but we are back now and to our old ways. We are restricting ourselves to only use combat ships while defending a miner/trader/colony ship, or if they are defending close range around Java, in the Orkney, and a station in the omegas which i can't remember the name
We have been pushing to always put role play over combat, power mining, and power trading. Many of our members have been doing this, even though there a few that are non compliant with this request.
all together, i see the ICMG is getting better with its role play and the ammount of it, as well as its in game activity. Hopefully they (we) will be confident enough to request official faction status with a request of a unique ID.
ATTENTION ATTENTION: We are starting the long and tedious process of going official. That starts right here in our feedback thread. We need YOU to tell us what we are doing right, wrong, and what needs improvement. This faction is now in your hands, so please, post away. Don't be afraid to be brutally honest, diamonds are made under pressure
You're going to find some complication in going official under the current rule of one official faction per ID, unless I am mistaken the IMG| current holds the IMG ID.

Always had pleasant interactions with the ICMG, no matter what character I'm on. I do hope that the faction becomes official. That'd be a great thing to see, as it'd surely spruce up the environment of the western border and edge worlds.
The people are fun to talk to both in and out of roleplay, and the general attitude of the faction, from what I've seen, is very positive and enthusiastic.
One little suggestion is that the faction should spread out to capture as many resources as possible. Instead of sticking in one spot like the upper Taus or whatever, move around and expand so you can gain as many sources of income from mining as possible. It'll also add diversity to the roleplay of many areas in Sirius if you do so.

We are indeed aware of that and our mystic hamsters, having been fed the blood of twenty-three virgins, are up late at night pondering that problem.
So far they have only to demand more peanuts however we are confident that before long they will have come up with answers.

As I'm sure you know, we are indeed planning to expand, NOT MOVE, but EXPAND, to the Omega systems quite soon, and have already done so in limited capacity. Though I won't reveal details to prevent metagaming (metagaming makes me has a sad, don't do it folks,) we are also pursuing the possibility of expanding into Bretonia as well, and perhaps more.
I think I speak for everyone in the ICMG when I say we'd love some feedback from folks on the Outcast/Corsair side of things as well. If anyone has any negative feedback, don't be afraid to post that either, so we can improve. The ICMG is always open to suggestions, and positive and negative criticism.
