Born in November 12th 794 A.S. I grew up in a wealthy family. My father being a merchant on Leeds, married to my mother. Both still live there dispite the recent hostilities in the system. But I do not talk to them anymore as they despise the work I do.
However when I was 12 (808) I started I managed to by a scrapped Kingfisher, though it needed a lot, and I mean alot, of work doing to it. I also won a bet with another kid at that time and gained a little starflier. In the following years I ended up racing and got caught several times by the Bretionian Police. But thank fully thats not on my record no more. Eventually my parents sent me to my uncle's in Liberty. He is was great but sadly gone. Had been employed by the Liberty Navy, though unkown to my parents he was a Mercenary. And a well trained escort pilot too.
My Uncle taught me very good English and maths and how to patrol, escort and even scout till I was 18, when we both decided that I will work on my Kingfisher the Furiosus. Since then I have been trading so I could afford the parts, and now it is complete. I continued the work on it after he passed away two years ago.
I am 23 now shame as the parts are rare to find being that it is an old design. And I just got a letter today saying I inherited my Uncle's ship weaponry, nice. Now to get out there and see the world. Just hope I don't see my Parents on Leeds.
Just need some combat training soon, and thank Sirius I found a book to write in.
The past few weeks have been fun, and somewhat good. I have started looking in to starting my own company Venator Private Security as I have seen there is very little in traditional Mercenary companies. I have also sent an application to a Mercenary company to gain usefull contacts.
I also have made a few contacts, one a freelancer and also a Marine Officer from Liberty.
Recently I have raised my escort charges by 50% but even with that raise I still sometimes end up with bonuses.
Yesterday was really bad, woke up very late in the day and started the Furiosus's 5 engines and guess what. Not a single one worked. I then had to repair them all day. When I finished I fell asleep on top of my ship, and woke up this morining on the flloor in pain. Thankfully theres no bruising but I think I better go out and make some money or I wont be able to repair the Furiosus again. And might even take a bounty as I have finailly sorted my gun camera in the nose of my ship, which was not taking any pictures at all.
Wow that was odd tryed find a escort contract for the first few hours of my afternoon flight then only found one. It was from Leeds to New Berlin, and as soon as we crossed the border in to Rheinland I found out I was an enemy of Rheinland. This was no way at all good. I managed to land at Bonn station under Interspace commerce's protection temporally and then launched to get out. Only to find out my sheild was failing every minute without even being fired at.
I then managed to find a jump hole to Dresden and had no respite there, a pirate base there was hostile, but no fighters were in attendance, and scanners picked up another jump hole. Went though it to end up in Stuttgart. Great another pirate base. Now I had to explore for another hole as I could not trust that the gates would be safe and even I used th gates I would be in trouble. after half an hour , how lucky am I, to find another Jump hole inside a nebula, didn't check for it's steelar information, but I took it and ended up in Omega 11.
I have heard much of this place due to the diamond trade my father is involved in, but only stories. I kept to the bouys that were close by and came across Solarius Station a Dauman Heavy Construction base and they was so kind to let me in and also corrected the problem I seemed to had with the rest of Rheinland so now I am Neutral, thank god I can do my ideal jobs much more easier now. For now I have landed on Baden Baden in Stuttgart and repaired Furiosus from the radiation damage from Omega 11. Now I intend to leave when the mechanic gets back to me saying I am clear to launch.
O might I add on the way to Rheinland we was asked by a IMG pilot to wait as supposedly there was a nomad up ahead, but I never saw it and have never seen one to this day.
Whilst looking for escort duties I had a few odd jobs over the past days, then came yesterday. Continued looking and on my watch in New York a Nomad popped up saying he/she whatever it was was a learner of human ways.
Well took me a while to find a nice long contract as i entered a few Ion storms. But last night I managed to find one. From New York to Edinburgh to Munich then Dresdan and back to New York. Made some nice Money to. Also felt the presence of that Nomad when I got back in to New York. Strange. Something must be up. Enroute to Dresdan I got contacted by a pilot called Lev whom had showed interest in my company the night before and requested we meet in flight so I gave him a location and time. As I was escorting I asked him to meet at Housten. When I got there he was not there and found out he went to the Sugerland, so I had to tell him to meet me at Manhattan. After a short chat with Lev at Manhattan I decided to employ him.
Now I still am waiting for a long standing contract, but I can still look for short term contracts. Though the pilot I escorted last seems to like the idea of my company and I think they may hhave made a promise, but then again thats me. At least I may have time to teach Lev ready for long standing contracts.
I'm off to make sure the Furiosus is fuelled and the engine is ok. Then meet Lev around 17:30 hours.
Well anyhow I meet the pilot Lev whom is very interested but is waiting on another companies reply to hes application. I have also found another pilot Edge, whom I have now promoted to the Rank of Officer as he has been doing a lot of work and has a few more responsabilities to. One of these is buying a few ships for our very own fleet with the idea of hiring pilots to fly them. They would have a wage too. Now just to find a few pilots to fill these part time jobs. I'm going to stick a few notices around and see if we get some feed back.
And I think I may be looking for a new ship too, Maybe a Red Talon, would give a boost in my weapons firing, as it has more power. Well lets get away from this training I have been doing and get out there for a bit.
Late last night I ended up recruiting two more pilots,
One a Junker Mr.Kibbles who buys gold and transports it, so he sent of a donation to my company and has agreed to my terms.
The other who has become a escort pilot is Eaglefire, a fairly good pilot I might add, but yet to see action in service for Venator Private Security.
Today was rather fun, Zoey.Sakura showed up trying to take on a miner whom her and her companion destoryed. And having this chance I had to see if there was a bounty on her nice head, but no. So I asked around and managed to get a contract to help BAF and went straight in. And yes I was alot better shooting her. But one mistake took me all the way to get back to the Essex in my escape pod. She had gone left and I thought she was going for my six, so I went full reverse to get the edge on her, little to my surprise she had flipped over and got a nice straight run on me with less than a second to react to her torpedo I think, I was a gonna as it me just as I fired my thrusters, to little to late. Well next time I will just make sure she is turning for my six instead of bluffing me in to that trap again. Either way I knew she would go for me, hoping that the BAf took control to take out her companion, but it seemed they could not take the advantage that I gave them for that short time Zoey was occupied with, wanting me to dissappear. Should have told them really but if the BAF can't read a situation then how good are they as pilots. From what I saw, bad.
I just so cannot wait to rip her ship in half. Now that would be the day.
I'm going to get back now when the ion storm goes away.
Thats been my last few days. Been sorting out paperwork after paperwork. My companies reports are going good, and have noticed that the Indian pirates that are coming to Dublin are getting more and more frequent. I shall see if there in Dublin for the next week, If they are I will be sending a memo to my Officers to gather information on them. For future reference to see if there is a pattern in there operations, incase we end up hunting them.
I have a new client to now. He is going to put a down payment of 100 Million Credits as a credit fund towards jobs that we do for this clients company. Think I better ask my officer who holds the key to our bank to check that he has made the payment yet.
Anyways I got loads of paperwork still do. Just hope I can get back in the action soon.
