Not even. You don't need to undock. You just need to log in once every sixty days. It is, however, per character and not per account.

Yea, for real. My Bank Char haven't been in Space for like 6 months now, and it's still there. I just log into it once a month and thats it!
I can't find the post now, but A&L said just to make sure, you can go to Equipment Dealer and sell then re-buy a Nanobot. That'll make sure the Inactivity counter is reset.

I always make a fly around from the docking spot. Just enough before I turn around and dock again.
