John Michaels, a BAF Intelligence agent lands on Leeds to report to his contact officer that operation "Beethoven" is ready to proceed to the next step. The contact officer puts John to oversee the covert operation: a blow on two strategic bases, the Holman Outpost of the IMG, from Tau 31 System, and the Gas Miner Naha of the GMG, from Sigma 13 system. The plan consists of bribing several Rheinland high ranking officers, to allow a small task force of BAF ships to pass through Rheinland space. Bretonia knew that if they want to win the war with the Kusari, they must first find a way to ground the KNF capital ships. The best way to do that is to force Kusari into fuel starvation, and thus by taking out the main refinery complexes which delivers a rising quantity of H-Fuel every month for KNF ships. It is known that the IMG and GMG haves preferential treatment from the Kusari, because they deliver a steady tow of fuel, but until now, there was no way to interrupt their supplies. Because it was too dangerous to use a fleet in Sigme 13 to attack the GMG convoys, the decision of taking out the refineries. After several time calculations, and estimated results, the BAF got the conclusion that the KNF will ground most of their ships at one week after their flow of H-Fuel will stop, but the refineries will be fully functional after only two weeks after the attack. That meant that BAF will have ten days to scramble a fleet, and crush the KNF in Tau 31, then be ready for the imminent counterstrike which will come from Tau 29. The plan was good, because they knew that the KNF will deploy battleships nearby the IMG and GMG bases. This will be a "do or die" situation.
Battleship Hiryu, New Tokyo System.
The KNF takes a wind of the BAF planning, and they rush a flotilla of ships to Sigma 13 to reinforce the GMG defenses. The BAF strike fails on Sigma 13, but it is successful in Tau 31. The BAF manages to push back the remaining patrol ships to Tau 29, and secure the area. But they didn't knew that the KNF are setting a trap. They have relied false information, about the KNF ships being pulled back into the Kusari core systems. The Tau 31 gate from Tau 29 is defended by 3 KNF capital ships, and they were standing by, ready to fire on the enemy, and recapture Tau 31. The BAF sends most of their forces from Tau 31 to capture the Tau 29 system, and falling blindly into an obvious trap. The KNF Battleships destroy almost all invaders, but one of them suffers severe damage. The rest of the Kusari forces go into Tau 31 and free the system, thus forcing Bretonia to resume their previous positions, with Harris under siege, and the only BAF Battleship, severely damaged, the MacDuff, guarding the planet.

The newest Kusari Battleship, The Legend Killer, suffered severe damage. Two fighter wings will be sent to escort it back to New Tokyo, for refit and rearming, and protect it from the increasing terrorist attacks. The Battleship and it's escorts enter in the Kyushu system. Moments after they go past the Kyushu Planet, the tradeline gets disrupted. Two Talarca Light Cruisers, and a fleet of fighters engage the battleship and it's escorts. The escorts go down in seconds, but the Battleship won't go down without a fight. Many of the fighters are destroyed by the Legend Killer, but with the shield down, and most power systems failed, it was clear that it will be destroyed soon. The Terrorist fleet belonged to the Golden Chrysanthemums, and it was led by Katemoto "Glyph" Higoshawa. The cruisers pounded the already crippled battleship with light mortar fire, and torn a large hole in it's hull. The power relays from the battleship finally broke down, and the ship was rendered immobile. Both of the GC Cruisers suffered catastrophic damage, and were to blow anytime soon. All the GC personnel from those two ships fled to the Life Pods, and left their ships in a hurry, while the rest of the GC fighter escorts flew back to Tau 63 to ask for help. Glyph came with a bold plan: to capture the enemy capital ship, because in the event of the cruisers exploding, their Life Pods couldn't withstand an explosion. Their only chance was the Legend Killer heavily reinforced hull. All the Life pods rush to the huge hole in the battleship's hull, and just after the first few managed to get inside the ship, the cruisers exploded, killing most of the GC personnel. Using the Life Pods features, which include space suits, they managed to get off their life pods, and enter into the still pressurized parts of the ship. They used hand guns, and light weapons to capture the ship's Bridge, and started to repair the power systems. The KNF personnel still on the ship grouped into storm troop squads, and started a slow, but steady final attack on the GC personnel. Meanwhile, a GC elite Battleship arrived at the scene. The Kawa Panterra got in position, and towed the Legend Killer to Tau 63, and into one of the rented docks of the Mito Shipyard, belonging to the Blood Dragons. There, GC forces entered inside the ship, and managed to capture most of the KNF personnel, which were on the point of recapturing the Bridge. Glyph, along with the few remaining survivors were taken in medical, while the ship was refitted and repaired back into it's original shape.
Two months later, on the Mito Shipyard
The Legend Killer was back on track, at full power, and manned. It just lacked a Captain. On a private meeting, the Bushido leader granted Glyph full access to the ship's resources, and also the seat of Captain, becoming the newest ship of the growing Bushido Fleet, and renamed accordingly, to {Bushido}-Zalmoxis.
