As the topic title & description suggests this was SUPPOSED to be a heavy bomber*. But that's not why i made this topic. I made this topic because I don't know what to do next, or rather I don't know how to do the next part. I simply don't know how to texture...and besides that the model ain't showing up in HardCMP (or are those 2 related?); you can't see anything just black/white screen.
For those who are interested too see how it looks like; here you are.
Bottom Curve Detail
Snout Detail (That thingy on the bottom side has been fixed)
Engine Detail
And two comparisons (with Zoner Whale)
This was my first model that didn't involve just deleting some details.
*The basic idea of the heavy bomber is that it could fire 2 Snac shots at once, so instead of a cap ship with 2 battle razorz you would have 1 Heavy Bomber (which in RP would cost a lot less to build)

Perhaps fatter in general.
After all, firing dual-SNAC would require an enourmous ammount of energy, which in return either means a new type of reactor to produce that ammount of energy while still beeing small or a big reactor with a bigger ship around it.
In a brilliant tactical movement, i charged backwards.
Well in RP this would really be a "recycled" Hathor - I didn't change it's size (if I remember right) so therefore the original reactor should still be in there; quite enough to fire dual SNACs. But I also thought that we could transfer some of the energy to the engines resulting in a maximum of
90 m/s impulse speed. The shield would be replaced with a special version of a level 7 shield (normally a transport shield). It would have 2-3 turrets and maybe 2 guns maximum, where it would uncover it's speciality - eliminating capital ships. In terms of agility it would maybe be somewhere in between bomber and gunboat. But as you said, I could make it a bit fatter I suppose.
I increased the height about 8-12 mm, the lenght about an inch-inch and a half, the width about half an inch.
But now there's something happening with some faces I used to fix something on the model; I hope that it won't mess up the textures.
The "fatter version"

I like it, being able to fire two SNAC's at once is just awesome, however, this ship should be more difficult to get then others, not exclusive like a Phantom ship, but not readily available like a Roc or Falcata either...
For something the width of a Juggy, you definitively need more details... as to what sort of details, there's really no way for me to describe it... but, a quick search on google image for sci fi ships can give you good ideas. Simple ones involve antennae, more complicated would be engine components, sensor systems, a radar, exhaust ports, weapon ports, and the like.
When I saw this thing, I expected something more around the size of a dagger, not something of a capital ship.
Firstly, don't use milkshape to model. You will find your life, and consequently your models, far better with another program. It's very unwieldly and actually difficult to do proper modelling with.
Try:
Metaseq (free)
3dsMax (the trial..and then either pay for it or somehow, through magical means, unlock it without paying :o)
Wings3D (free + the one I use, tis grand)
On the model itself.
It needs greater detailing on the wings and with the wing shape. Give it more substance. IE, not one solid block. Jinx is a great one for this. Essentially things that might sound completely idiotic in realistic terms can be great for bulking out a model. While it may be silly to have this extra thing, it makes it seem more realistic. (Odd I know)
What you circled in the first image of this post is caused by double faces. This is pretty much bad modeling and is a bitch to repair sometimes. Could also be caused by your video card, but this is most unlikely.
I'm loyal to Maya, but 3DS Max can do just as well.
As for the model, it looks really cool. Reminds me of the Slipstream.
EDIT: Those shadows in the first pictures can mean bad normals, lighting or double faces also. Make sure you fix these errors. They can cause havoc with textures and effect the way it looks in game.
