As we all know, IMG and CR shared tech (because there was only one line of weps/ships for both factions, etc). The two groups choose to RP this situation by saying they cooperated and developed tech together. All fine and dandy so far BUT, in the next version, IMG is forced by the GRN to sign that NAP treaty, while CR goes to war against GRN and looses it (at least in the Taus). Now, CR will still strike GRN convoys, attempting to break their supply lines and all that (guerilla warfare). Here's where the problem kicks in.
GRN will have the opportunity to get CR tech from IMG, since they will be their puppies. Now, IMG and CR's ships and weps get split and everyone has their own, so, I see 2 options to avoid possible ooRP situations caused by the rules (because we all know that a faction can't use tech belonging to a enemy faction):
1. IMG and CR get red cells and there will be no more tech sharing (and the old shared models will be just that - old and not interesting for GRN)
2. GRN gets green cell to CR tech and what I've described above actually happens. GRN probably won't use any sirian tech since their big gallic pride and better ships would prevent that from happening but they can RP the fact that they know how to exploit CR tech.
(all this, of course, if the CR will even be taken into consideration in the new mod's lore)
Is Bretonia dead ? I don't think the corsairs will stop their attacks and they will more likely even take advantage of Gallia. The artifacts are shiny rocks gallics may be looking for.
