Greetings, ladies and gentlemen.
It has recently come to the attention of the Republic that the situation in O-7 is, at the very least, tense. We know this because a mercenary came to the Taus looking for IMG and its sympathizers, planning on collecting a bounty from DHC. He found us, and we shot him down. We know, thanks to a talk with DHC, that this pilot was operating outside the boundaries of his contract. Still, if things are so bad that Daumann feels that it needs to hire mercenaries to protect its interests from its neighbors, I am personally more than a little sad, and our president, Paul Atreides, is worried over the state of Omega 7 and all of the people in it, whether Rheinlander or IMG.
What I would like is if all the major groups involved, on both the IMG side and Rheinland side, would come to the table and talk this out, with our help, to come to a suitable agreement which precludes the necessity of vicious bounties. CR has a vested interest in O-7; we were brought there to keep IMS safe, and now we're interested in keeping all of O-7 stable. On a less sentimental, more grounded level, I'm sure that you all understand how a stable O-7, without both sides wasting money on a needless conflict between each other, would be more profitable to all.
With that said, I think that CR's wish for a reasonable agreement in the Omegas is advantageous to all sides, no?
Sincerely,
Lieutenant Junior Grade Politus Aquila

***Incoming Transmission*** From: DHC, Superior Board of High Executives
Subject: Ceasefire negotiations.
The Superior Board of High Executives, led by CEO Walter Daumann is willing to meet in this "Summit" of the major groups involved in the fragile situation of Omega 7.
Our negotiation convoy is ready at the Dock-Ports, New Berlin; our main planetary installation in the system.
Until other groups respond to this message, this board has nothing more to add, yet we think there is nothing more to be said until the formal meeting.
Sincerely,
Superior Board of High Executives, Walter Dauamann

Subject: Peace negotiations
On behalf of the IMS I would like to express our appreciation of the initiative here taken.
We - the IMS - already have an agreement with the honorable Daumann Heavy Construction, but it is also clear for us, that such a bi-lateral agreement does not sufficently answer the questions and problems concerning peace in Omega 7.
We therefore strongly believe, that all parties with legitimate interests in Omega 7 should meet and re-negotiate a comprensive agreement.
I hope, that all parties in fact do respond to this initiative - also the Kruger Minerals. I mention them specifically for 2 reasons:
1. The IMS and other IMG-related groups mine together with Kruger in the Erbersfelde Cloud of Omega 7
2. I have experienced some problems contacting their leadership - and it is as of now unclear to me, who is leading and can negotiate on behalf of Kruger Minerals. I hope, that it is only a misunderstanding on my part.
