One of our patrol vessels reported rather... unbelievable sightings. Major Koehler informed me that he found an entirely operational Battleship, yours, in the middle of the Ebersfelde asteroid field, in Omega-7.
In light of the latest... uncertain relations with the local IMG-related mining operations out there, your Battleship's presence might be taken as a hostile intention from Rheinland by the companies that were also requested not to bring in any capital-class vessels into the system.
That is a problem, as an addition to the fact that... I still don't know how you could overcome the navigational hazard and set up your vessel, unharmed, in the middle of an asteroid field. Either way, it was a rather irresponsible move from a Battleship Kapitan, due to the hazards such a field presents.
Take this as an official order from the Admiralty: Withdraw the Wittmund from the Omega-7 system at once, else there will be measures taken to preserve the integrity of your vessel and our relations with the IMG in a more radical way.

Herr Viceadmiral!
The commander of Briesen Mining Facility reported us how our patrols of Omega-7 spotted an IMG Battleship just frontside of Stuttgart gate, about 6 click from Briesen. This was a kind of power demonstration or a threatening or they wanted to show the simply ignore your request about capital ships. Whatever was the reason why was the IMG battleship there, we - and I think rightly - feeled our installation in danger, so we used up our connections and asked some heavy vessel captains, time to time see around in Omega 7 system. Need to show to IMG we have capital ships, maybe if we show our power that effective, because your words, your personality, your rank - with fully respect - mean nothing to IMG. Of course we have evidence, but one time one of your pilot met this vessel, so Im sure you belive his words too.
So that Rh. Battleship was there for our request. Of course we dont have any idea, why entered into Kruger territory, I am sure you believe us if I say, we dont really care about Kruger and their losses, we asked from him protecting OUR interests, mainly Briesen. Maybe navigator had navigation problems. Maybe the commander feeled his duty protecting all rheinland civilian anywhere where they are in danger. I think his action - risking his ship for protecting rheinland civilians - is the most bravery act what we awaiting from our military senior officer. I wish all of our officer behave like he....
Omega systems are friction points. Our goal is a good agreement with the local civilians, corporations and other forces. In our oppinion we can get more if we show our power like IMG do and did it in the past - maybe remember the IMG capital fleet some month ago. We get fair conditions only if we show, we are as strong as this little mining guild. Your continuos regression not really serve our interests. If you want peace in this region - what everyone want, at least everyone say this - please show the locals, the Rheinland Government have (have?) same power like the poor, tiny IMG, which already said Rheinland rights questionable in the area.
Seems like Colonial Remnant tried to pick up the mediator role. We got an offer from them for a negotation, please take a contact with them and represent yourself.

Herr Viceadmiral
I was ordered by the DHC High Command to protect and defend Briesen Mining Facility if it is nessecary Until ive heard that in the Elberfelde Cloud curiously things happened, related to this, I decide to patrol this region, after I reached the field, I saw that Mercenaries have attacked Kruger Miner. I. disallow that. And then wanted back to Briesen Station, at this time my engines fell off and my Navigationcomputer had a failure, cause of the little rocks, which my engines clogged. So I couldn’t fly back to the station. I asked for a repairship from Planet Stuttgart and I had to wait.
Well, to the fact that I ve acted against my orders. I felt obliged and honored to protect the innocent Civilians in Omega 7 from the threatening of the ruthless Mercs that kill innocent Rheinland Corperations to filling up their bloddy wallets. I hope many of the Rhineland Militaries will act as I ve react in the same situation.

[color=#FFCC00]Herr Scholz,
I have no idea how you gained access to a secure Military channel, but I have to say that I am not impressed by the Daumann's actions in general, this being one.
We are trying to handle the situation as diplomatically and peacefully as possible. I personally ordered the Karlsruhe to double the patrols lead to Omega-7, to supervise and handle any illegal actions conducted within the system, which small arms craft did manage to handle so far. We repositioned a cruiser on standby, currently stationed at the border station near the gate.
More military presence, especially something as ridiculous as a Battleship deployed in the middle of an asteroid field, we will NOT allow unless it is the Ravensburg being deployed, under the orders of Admiral Malte herself.
The Daumann is NOT the high command of the Rheinwehr secondary fleet, thus please refrain from ordering our Battleships around without our approval. Especially given such circumstances.
I have no idea why you keep bringing up examples that are months old to justify your actions either. None of the concerned IMG parties were involved with dispatching capital ships into the Omega-7 system since the negotiations started.
My orders stand. The Wittmund will return to Stuttgart and preserve internal security tasks until this crisis is resolved. If you want to help the miners, launch fighters, bombers, a gunboat at maximum. I will not give approval of a Battleship being deployed, especially into the middle of an asteroid field.
