Division 9s work in Coronado has paid off information on inbound smugglers begins to stream real-time to an LPI command post based off of Planet Los Angeles. Most smugglers are intercepted halfway through the system in open space, with no where to run. Most LPI patrols for this purpose launch from California Minor, being the closest base to the general area where they strike.
The LPI puts the first attempt at this in motion when a Vagrant Raiders Cardamine transport, with escort, flies through Coronado and is spotted by a Division 9 ship. It passes word to the LPI waiting to pick them up. However, the LPI get a bit more than they bargained for

Specifics: This is the first of a series (hopefully!) of LPI/VR events, most, if not all, happening in the California system. In this scenario, three LPI Liberators will launch from California Minor once the VR group passes the Division 9 ship (which will do nothing hostile towards the VR) in Coronado. The VR will move past the zone on their way to the Pennsylvania jump hole, where they will be intercepted. VR will field one transport and three escorts. All ships are to be fighter class. Once attacked, the VR will request backup and 3-5 more ships will approach, at which point the LPI will request backup to attain equal numbers; SWAT ships will be used.
The transport may not, and will sit in space until half either side is depleted. If the VR destroy half of the LPI, the transport may make a break for it. If the LPI destroy half of the VR, they can attack the transport. The ultimate goal is the defense/destruction of the transport. During the fight, the transport may not resupply the VR with regens or ammo. Likewise, for the sake of time, nanobots and shield batteries may not be traded.
We need people and times available. Looking like we're going to do this Tuesday, 2300GMT (that's 6:00 PM EST).
It is my understanding that this will be a recurring event. As a result, it will be pinned. It will be unpinned after not being attended to by both sides for two weeks in a row.
Please put the time (in GMT) and the day into the topic title as soon as you figured them out.
