Here's what's the problem, I was in Minor and with a friend in group he took missions and he went to the waypoint when, guess what... No NPC's , I seem to think we had the same issue before ( so does he ) and that Cannon somewhat fixed this , but guess what: It's back and it's going to kill us all! ( Well not exactly since NPC's don't spawn... ) So I know this is a global issue because a friend on Skype just mentioned how he took missions in Tau's and he went to the waypoint and the NPC's wont spawn.

Earlier this morning I took a base destroy mission in New Berlin
and found no base had spawned at the way-point.

The server was restarted less than an hour ago to attempt a
correction to this problem but i have not had time to verify.

Just be patient. I'm sure the Cannon team are working hard at it.

There have been multiple server restarts to fix the issue.

All unsucesfull so far.

Cannon and crew are pretty damned good at what they're doing, so sit back, get bribes instead, and just wait til they resolve the bugs.

Yeah, this issue is tricky. There's a bugged mission somewhere and when it happens it causes all missions to break. I'm slowly hunting down the little ...

At the moment the only fix is to restart the server and then when somebody takes the particular mission it breaks again.

Well, at least it isnt as bad as it was on this other SW mod I played once, they had a mission bug were if someone was in group and out of system, the server crashed.

Something that could possibly be related, or just an unconncted bug....

This was in Kappa, between the delta/74 JHs

Ive posted it before, but Ive had it happen several times since then, wodnering if they may be related (Ive seen stranger things)

start server with password on it and only login with the support team... take missions in some systems/stations and try to find? only an idea... players will hate me if you do it like that

Another idea.....



Add admin missions from the battlestar.

have the missions there be all the same thing, the waypoint right outside the battlestar, and basicly be to undock, pew an unmoving ship that is spawned..



Keep doing that over 'n over every 5-10 mins, while also logging EVERY mission anyone does.


Once the NPC stops spawning for the test mission, run the logs of all misions since the last time it worked.

Then go and test on a much shorter list of missions.
