Tetsushi Samariko was born in 779 A.S. in the small town of
Bushaido, located on planet Honshu. As a boy, Samariko always
had high expectations for his future. He wanted to leave his
small town on Honshu and see the worlds. In 784 A.S. at the
age of 5, Samariko's father Akemi Samariko sent his son to
the most prestigious military school on Honshu.
From a young age Samariko's instructors at the school knew
he would one day alter the history of Kusari. Samariko
showed great promise as a commander, becoming the youngest
boy in the school's history to be put in charge of his own
platoon. Samariko and his platoon was put through every
possible scenario his instructors could think of and was never
defeated. For 12 years Samariko trained under the toughest
conditions his instructors could arrange. Finally, in 796
Samariko graduated at the top of his class, distinguished
honor graduate.
After Samariko's graduation, he arrived at flight school
where he met a young lieutenant named Isuzu Kintano.
Kintano and Samariko quickly became friends as they navigated
their way through the school, easily surpassing all their
classmates. They began to perform maneuvers they had yet to be
taught and quickly accelerated to the top of the class. There
was always a friendly rivalry between Samariko and Kintano, as
each tried to out perform one another in everything they did.
The friendship however, was not to last. Upon completing the
course Kintano was sent to Honshu, while Samariko was sent to
Kyushu.
Upon Samariko's arrival, he was immediately put in command of a
small gunboat. Samariko and his squad patrolled the areas in
and around Kyushu up until the Great War of 799-801 A.S. In 801
A.S. Samariko was deployed to help defend his home planet of
Honshu. Samariko and his squad were effective in dispatching over
80 Rheinland fighters, 10 bombers, and 1 Rheinland Cruiser.Taking
heavy flak from the cruiser's main cannon, Samariko was injured in
the left leg and left Torso but continued to fight despite his
pain. The fight ensued for 36 long hours, only when the battle was
won did Samariko attend to his wounds.
Samariko awoke in a hospital somewhere on planet Honshu. He awoke
to two pairs of some what familiar eyes staring down at him. His
mother and father had heard of his heroism in the battle and flew
to the hospital to see him. Tears welled up in his eyes as he saw
his parents for the first time in 17 years.
Samariko recovered remarkably fast, whether it was from the return
of his parents or the work of the doctors is anybody's guess. Soon
after his recovery, Samariko was attending an awards ceremony for
those distinguished in the battle over Honshu. Among the awardees
aside from himself was Isuzu Kintano. Kintano was promoted to the
rank of Captain and received the Silver lifesaving medal. Samariko
was promoted to 1st Lieutenant and received both the Purple Cross
and the Silver Star for his selfless actions on the battlefield.
A week later Samariko received a letter in the mail. He was to leave
immediately for Hokkaido. He was being re-assigned to command the
IKN-Boundless.Fury. His company commander...Isuzu Kintano
